Ino walked into the medicine community five years ago, a youngster of 27 and a total novice. His uncanny connection to fire drew the attention of initiates years his senior. Using his formidable focus and intention, he can cause a fire to flare or batten down in a heartbeat. Today he is an accredited Aguila de Fuego or Fire Eagle, a distinction that normally takes years to achieve. His acts as the Hombre de Fuego for temazcals and creates the fires at medicine ceremonies while holding the element’s energies. We expect great things from this nascent Hombre de Poder.
Sandra is a Bioneuroemotion Therapist, Eriksonian Hypnosis practitioner, master life coach and instructor, runner of temazcals and a medicine woman of repute. She worked with Ayahuasca for over 17 years to fine-tune her connection to its spirit and learn its many voices. She is considered a Bufo Alvarius Master of inordinate skilll, having apprenticed with the elders of the Sonoran tribes among whom Bufo is the principal medicine. The head elder called Sandra, “The only innate shaman I’ve ever seen”. She is a woman of integrity and wisdom, highly trained and profoundly intuitive.
Sharon is an American who has lived over 40 years in Latin America, first in Peru, now in Mexico.
A translator and interpreter by profession, she began her healing path some 20 years ago working with established healers in both Mexico and Peru. Her foray into plant medicine began 18 years ago; her gift is meeting people where there are and opening doors they hadn’t known existed. Today she runs one of the most successful plant medicine retreat companies in Mexico.

We are a family, a tribe of the soul. We believe that change in the world begins with change in us and that Ayahuasca is one of the most powerful tools for evoking that change. Ayahuasca drops the barriers between your conscious and subconscious, giving you a glimpse at what you truly feel and why, allowing you to broaden your perception and perception is everything. The Ayahuasca given in our retreats is prepared by the Shipibo of the Peruvian Amazon, the culture that has been working with Ayahuasca for over three millennia. We travel to Peru, collect the medicine from them in person and hand-carry it to Mexico. We do this to sustain our connection with the medicine and preserve its integrity. Those among us who give the medicine have the compassion and wisdom that come from years of working with Ayahuasca. They trained with the Shipibo and continue to do so. They are savvy, committed and prepared. The rest of us also work with the Shipibo once a year to continue our personal work.
We take the medicine with you at the retreat; we are there for you as you need us. We have years of experience; some of us are healers. We know what it’s like to go through a process so whether you come as a novice or an advanced taker of medicina, you’re in good hands.
Schedule
Day one of the retreat is dedicated to arriving and getting settled. There’s time to explore the center, meet your fellow participants and get acquainted with us. We share a welcome dinner, discuss the week ahead and answer any questions you may have. We pay close attention to the group dynamic as it evolves and the energies that are moving and make small changes in the order of activities as required. All Ayahuasca ceremonies are done at night and we have a temazcal the afternoon following two of the ceremonies.

A truly Life Changing Experience
When I originally booked my place, my main objective was to get out of my comfort zone, to challenge myself to keep growing and to try Ayahuasca, as I had long wanted to, in its native place with Shaman support and guidance. Most Transformative & Healing Experience of My Life
It's hard to put into words how safe, loved, and cared for I felt at Bluestone. These healers are truly masters of their craft- nothing has helped me heal and enjoy life like working with Sandra, Sharon, and Ino.
On a logistical side, Cancun is extremely easy to get to from the US. The facilities are always clean, working, and in good order. The food is incredible. The schedule and pace of the retreat is perfect. The kitchen staff and groundskeeper are lovely. In short, these retreats are PERFECTLY run. Sharon has dialed it in over the years.
I'd also like to note that Sandra speaks perfect English, and she meets with you to discuss your experiences and help integrate throughout the retreat. This is HUGE! At some retreat centers, the shamans do not speak English or involve themselves in the integration process.

I have participated now in (2) Bluestone Ayahuasca retreats. I am very aware and awake spiritually and participate to enhance my energetics and expand my consciousness. The Bluestone retreat is for anyone that is looking for massive change in their consciousness, life etc. This retreat is not for people that are not serious and just want to sit in the jungle for a week. I came to this retreat thinking I knew what to expect. That idea or thought shattered after the first ceremony.
