The Invitation
You are warmly invited to join us in a beautiful fusion of Plant Medicine and Breathwork—a deep dive into inner healing, expansion, and peace. This retreat offers a chance to reconnect with Self and Nature while being supported in community and ceremony.

The Land
The retreat takes place on sacred Native land in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Crestone, Colorado—a landscape alive with its own medicine. Nestled among the pines, this land is home to high mountain lakes, waterfalls, and one of Mother Earth’s greatest natural energy flows: the largest water aquifer in North America, lying atop a vast bed of crystals.

The valley is held by towering 14,000-foot peaks—Crestone Peak, the most sacred mountain of the Hopi, and Mount Blanca, sacred to the Navajo—separated only by the Great Sand Dunes. To the west stretches the San Luis Valley, known to Native peoples as “The Bloodless Valley,” a place where tribes gathered in peace for powwows, medicine, and connection. Recognized as the largest high desert valley in the world, this land is a natural vortex of energy.

Crestone is also a designated dark sky area, offering breathtaking stargazing that reminds us of our place in the great cosmic web.

About The Medicine Guides
Justin Gould
Justin Gould is a Registered Nurse with over 14 years of experience, a trained Ceremonial Breathwork leader through Breathwork Worldwide, and a certified Medicine Journey Guide through the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness in Boulder, CO. His training in Mindfulness-Based Psychedelic Guiding, along with his apprenticeship in Peru as an Ayahuasquero, has grounded his path in both modern practice and ancestral tradition.

Justin is committed to creating safe, sacred ceremonial spaces where conscious breath and plant medicines meet. His work supports each individual in accessing their own unfolding journey—reuniting with their higher self and opening to the vast realms of healing, insight, and transformation.

In his sessions, Justin emphasizes conscious breath techniques, Pranayama, and psycholytic practices, woven together with the supportive presence of plant medicines. These modalities invite altered states of awareness, allowing body and soul to reunite through an alchemical process unique to each person.

Called to this work through his own life-changing experiences, Justin believes that the healing power of breath and sacred plants belongs to all. His mission is to share these time-tested modalities so that each person may reclaim their sovereignty, wisdom, and inner strength

Azria Barrett
Azria comes from a long lineage of healers. From a young age, she began learning ancient weaving patterns from her grandmother—threads that not only create beauty, but also carry journeys inward. With each warp and weft, she was introduced to the medicine currents that have guided her people for generations, offering healing for mind, body, and spirit..

Her love for plants was nurtured in her family garden, where she worked alongside her mother, grandfather, and great-grandmother—gathering herbs, canning, and preparing medicines for the year ahead. Her father, a master grower of sacred plants, deepened her understanding of the living wisdom within the natural world.

In time, Azria was called to walk the path of ceremonial plant medicines. Guided first by the teachings of psilocybin and other sacred allies, her journey eventually led her to the Amazon basin and to Ayahuasca, the grandmother and master plant teacher. From her very first ceremony, she experienced the profound depth of this spirit’s healing power, and she is now apprenticing to become an Ayahuasquera.

Alongside her Amazonian studies, Azria is apprenticing with Justin, learning the art of ceremonial breathwork and the service of psilocybin. She welcomes you to walk with her on this sacred path of healing—in the mountains, in the jungle, and in the heart.

Aho.
