Ladan is a yoga and meditation practitioner who facilitates her own classes, workshops, and retreats.
She trained with Sivananda Yoga in the Himalayas and Mysore style Ashtanga in San Francisco with Greenpath Yoga.
Ladan is a writer for Huffington Post, published author of "Fabulous Fitness at 40", and teacher for various Fitness TV Sky channels.
She loves teaching yoga as it has allowed her to become aligned with her true sense of purpose in life. She lives by the Eastern philosophy that yoga is about self-realization.

Join us for 8 magical days in Kissamos, Crete.
This retreat offers you the opportunity to nourish
yourselves and find your balance. The perfect location to unwind, relax and replenish, whilst
immersing in a daily practice of yoga and meditation, and
eating healthy, delicious food.
Kissamos, nestled on the northwest coast of Crete, Greece, is a
charming town that effortlessly combines history, natural beauty,
and modern comforts. Blessed with sun-kissed beaches,
crystal-clear waters, and a backdrop of rolling hills, this town is
a haven for beach lovers and nature enthusiasts.
But Kissamos is not just about its picturesque beaches; it
boasts a rich historical heritage as well. The lively town centre
exudes a warm ambiance with its traditional tavernas serving
delectable Cretan cuisine.
Yoga & Meditation classes
This retreat offers you the perfect opportunity to find your balance.
Morning: Each morning we will start with an energising yoga class filled with mindfulness. I will be teaching a fusion of various disciplines, such as Hatha and Ashtanga, followed by a delicious, healthy brunch served at the hotel.
We do our best to cater to all allergies and food preferences.
Afternoon: During the day you have the option to explore the hidden gems of Kissamos, with its array of lovely bakeries, tavernas and craft shops. Alternatively you can soak up the sun and relax on the beach. We provide snorkelling equipment and sun-beds. In addition there are many stunning beaches to visit, such as the pink sand beach, Elafonisi in Paleochora which is also a beautiful town to visit.
There is also the option to go on various self-guided hikes, which have already been worked out and ready for you to enjoy. If you prefer, we can also provide you with bicycles free of charge. All the yoga sessions will cater for every level of practitioner.
This means beginners are also welcome to join this retreat and advanced options will be offered to those who are more experienced. During the sessions, I will be making physical adjustments and work with each student intuitively and individually.
Evening: We will meet each evening for guided meditation, breath-work and yoga nidra ( a deep relaxing guided meditation whilst lying down ). Yoga sessions will be gentle and yin based ( holding the postures longer and deep breathing ). You can attend as many classes as you like and try out all of the local delicious food, including the wine. Please know there are no restrictions as it is your holiday.
You have the choice to socialise and make like minded friends or you can reside in solitude if you need the space to introspect and self-reflect, in order to gain clarity and perspective.
I will be offering 1-1 private sessions for those who feel they would benefit from my intuitive mentoring sessions. Also we can book out the studio and go over any specific postures you feel you would like to improve and work on, including recovery from injuries or even devising a bespoke yoga session as a daily home practice.

After the evening yoga sessions, we will dine at some of the best picked local tavernas. All the restaurants will have the option of vegetarian and vegan dishes. On our last evening, we will discover, Greek and Cretan culture to its fullest.
We will have a cookery class, followed by a traditional Greek cuisine buffet, breaking a plate, followed by Cretan traditional dances.
