Explore breathwork, nature, sound and expressive movement
The New York Times described Holotropic Breathwork as “heart opening” and a way to heal yourself and improve mood. The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork can include release and healing of trauma, improving anxiety and depression, higher insights of spiritual understanding, increased connection to self and others, and opening to compassion and love.
We invite you to join Dr. Laurane McGlynn and Jeffrey Warren to experience the remarkable healing potential and therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork®. Holotropic Breathwork™ a powerful breathwork practice that allows for self-exploration and healing. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing potential of the breather, or "inner healer", which guides the experience.
We create a safe and supportive setting with highly trained and experienced Holotropic Breathwork facilitators. In this double breathwork workshop, each person will experience four Holotropic Breathwork® sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter), guided shamanic journey (optional), sound healing session, nature-based mask making, expressive movement, a talk on the theory and practice of Holotropic Breathwork and an evening community fire gathering.
Whether you are new to Holotropic Breathwork, or highly experienced, this workshop can help you reconnect with your own inner healing wisdom. This workshop is open to new or experienced breathers or anyone interested in experiencing Holotropic Breathwork. This workshop is approved by Grof Transpersonal Training and Grof Legacy Training to meet the breathwork requirements of the training. For anyone in a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program, this workshop may fulfill your requirement for sitting for others in expanded states of consciousness.
Please note: There is special tiered pricing available for the workshop cost for those who may need some financial support to attend.
