The retreat will begin on Friday, Dec. 5, with a 6 p.m. check-in, followed by an optional First Friday Mass at 6:30 p.m. The first conference session will begin at 7:15 p.m. The retreat will conclude Sunday, Dec. 7, with Mass and a final brunch at 11 a.m.

Women ages 19 to 99 and from all walks of life are invited to attend the “Waiting for Jesus with Mary” retreat, led by the Marian Sisters of the Diocese of Lincoln. Attendees are invited to embrace this time of rest, quiet, and renewal as they listen to the inspiring guidance of the Marian Sisters and deepen their faith journey.

The Advent-inspired retreat, scheduled for Dec. 5-7, offers a time of rest, reflection, and spiritual nourishment in the presence of Christ. The retreat aims to strengthen attendees’ intimacy with Jesus and renew their faith during this holy season.

Accompanied by a priest to support participants’ sacramental needs, the retreat will feature talks by the Marian Sisters, opportunities for confession, daily Holy Mass, time for prayer, and moments of silence for personal reflection. Designed to help women deepen their relationship with Christ, this retreat offers a unique opportunity for spiritual renewal with other faith-filled women.

Throughout the weekend, participants will be encouraged to take part in the sacraments and contemplative prayer, providing space to draw nearer to God.

Private Retreat
Thank you for your excellent vineyard work, assisting God in hugging His people!
I so appreciate getting to visit with Holy Spirit in your oasis of holiness.
And, thank you for your gracious hospitality, giving me a room, near the entrance, so I could care for my dog, outside. God bless you and His angels hug you.

A Wonderful Respite
I was able to enjoy two days away at the Retreat Center and was so blessed by the comfortable accommodations, the beautiful grounds, the Mass times, and the personal spiritual direction. Everyone was so welcoming and I was fully able to enjoy the presence of Christ in this serene setting. Thank you for your ministry!

Wonderful Retreat
The timing was perfect for a silent retreat between groups of large group retreats. I was nearly alone for my prayerful days with God. I had the chapel to myself all day long. Meals were prepared and placed in the refrigerator for whenever eating worked into my schedule. The food was good. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The center was quiet, and staff members were helpful and kind. Father said Mass each morning and was available for spiritual direction. The 80 acres was beautiful. God led my much needed retreat, and I was grateful to God and to everyone at Our Lady of Good Counsel for making it happen.
