Learning to Trust in God

A Online Advent Retreat with Connie Rossini

Virtual Retreat with lifetime recordings includes four conferences and four handouts of accompanying slides.

Following the example of St. Therese of Lisieux and Abraham our father in faith, discover how to place all your confidence in God and understand the importance of trusting in His providence.

The first week is an introduction in learning to trust, and the following three weeks will cover trusting God and being at peace with your past, your present, and your future.

Living in Omaha, a wife and mother of four sons, Connie Rossini gives whole families practical help to grow in holiness. She is the author of several books, including Trusting God with St. Therese and her latest book The Contemplative Rosary with St. John Paul II and St. Teresa of Avila written with Dan Burke. Besides her blog Contemplative Homeschool, she is the founder of the Authentic Contemplative Prayer Group on Facebook.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House offers a sanctuary of prayer and recollection on a spacious acreage near Waverly, Nebraska.

Schedule

Friday registration typically opens at 7:00pm and all retreatants gather together at 8:00pm to pray the Rosary and celebrate Mass.
Saturday begins with morning prayer in the chapel, followed by breakfast, a conference talk and Mass. After lunch participate in private devotions and rest. Gather together for another conference and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The evening commences with the communal praying of the Rosary and Evening Prayer, followed by dinner. The evening ends with a Holy Hour, conference, and Benediction.
Sunday also begins with morning prayer and breakfast, followed by a conference and Mass. The retreat ends after praying the Angelus and eating a final lunch together and sharing graces. We hope you depart with many graces and much peace after your retreat experience.
