The weekend retreat begins Friday with check-in at 5 p.m., a 6 p.m. social and 7 p.m. conference; and ends at noon Sunday.  Participant are invited to join in the Friday formation conference from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the option for a Thursday dinner and overnight.

All men are invited to have a personal encounter with Christ as they discover Him during “Men’s Spiritual Exercises,” a retreat with Regnum Christi.

The weekend retreat in Waverly will be based on the classic Spiritual Exercises developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola. Retreatants meditate on the principal truths of the Christian faith with a special emphasis on following and imitating Christ.

The preached Spiritual Exercises will be given by a priest of the Legionaries of Christ, and includes Mass, rosary, confessions, adoration, silence, meditation and spiritual direction with Father Gary Coulter, director of the retreat house.

The retreat is not only for Regnum Christi members, as it is open to men of all ages who may be interested. Men are also invited to come early and join a social Thursday, Dec. 11 and formation day Friday, Dec. 12.

Regnum Christi, the “Kingdom of Christ,” is an apostolic movement of passionate Catholics from all walks of life who strive to impact the world by building Christ’s Kingdom on earth. Members commit to live out their baptismal call to holiness and to engage in apostolic action, desiring to change the world through works of evangelization.

Private Retreat
Thank you for your excellent vineyard work, assisting God in hugging His people!
I so appreciate getting to visit with Holy Spirit in your oasis of holiness.
And, thank you for your gracious hospitality, giving me a room, near the entrance, so I could care for my dog, outside. God bless you and His angels hug you.

Wonderful Retreat
The timing was perfect for a silent retreat between groups of large group retreats. I was nearly alone for my prayerful days with God. I had the chapel to myself all day long. Meals were prepared and placed in the refrigerator for whenever eating worked into my schedule. The food was good. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The center was quiet, and staff members were helpful and kind. Father said Mass each morning and was available for spiritual direction. The 80 acres was beautiful. God led my much needed retreat, and I was grateful to God and to everyone at Our Lady of Good Counsel for making it happen.
