The retreat will begin on Friday with an 8pm Rosary and Mass. The retreat will conclude Sunday with Mass and noon lunch.

Join us as Fr. Nicholas Kipper guides participants through an exploration of what it truly means to live the good life as a follower of Christ. In a world that offers countless definitions of happiness and fulfillment, this retreat returns to the timeless wisdom of the Church to discover the path to authentic joy and holiness.

This retreat will delve into the essential Christian virtues that form the foundation of a life lived in communion with God. Through engaging talks, periods of silent reflection, and communal prayer, Fr. Kipper will help us understand how virtues such as faith, hope, charity, prudence, justice, fortitude, and temperance are not merely abstract ideals but practical tools for daily Christian living.

Drawing from Scripture, the teachings of the saints, and the rich tradition of Catholic theology, this retreat offers both spiritual nourishment and concrete guidance. Participants will have the opportunity to examine their own spiritual lives, identify areas for growth, and develop practical strategies for cultivating virtue in the midst of modern life's challenges.

Private Retreat
Thank you for your excellent vineyard work, assisting God in hugging His people!
I so appreciate getting to visit with Holy Spirit in your oasis of holiness.
And, thank you for your gracious hospitality, giving me a room, near the entrance, so I could care for my dog, outside. God bless you and His angels hug you.

Wonderful Retreat
The timing was perfect for a silent retreat between groups of large group retreats. I was nearly alone for my prayerful days with God. I had the chapel to myself all day long. Meals were prepared and placed in the refrigerator for whenever eating worked into my schedule. The food was good. The bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The center was quiet, and staff members were helpful and kind. Father said Mass each morning and was available for spiritual direction. The 80 acres was beautiful. God led my much needed retreat, and I was grateful to God and to everyone at Our Lady of Good Counsel for making it happen.
