George in Findhorn
I booked a 28 day retreat, but because I started a new job I had to change it into a 14 day retreat. My accomodation was the bunk house. I thought I would be together with other people doing the retreat or workshops, but there was a permanent change: a man who was hiking stayed only one night. Two women came to have a party- so it was a permanent coming and going. Next time I'll stay in a B&B. And: nearby was a soccer field and a boxing sack with a permanent "boom boom". - The first week I had a wonderful workshop with Barbara Svetina. Without this week I'd have been lost. In the second week the electronic calendar was wrong: I went to Forres, but there was no circle dance. Wonderful was the Taize singing every morning! I loved the circle dances! There should be more events like this, may be a get together in the evening. Thank you for everything and all the people who make it possible to be in Findhorn! One thing: there are definitly to many cars in a öko-village!!! Blessings and light! Georg Link, Berlin/Germany

Great stay wonderful place
The room was everything I needed.
The bunkhouse had a lovely spacious open plan kitchen, dining space and living room and two bathrooms with showers. Everyone I met was friendly and respectful.
I would definitely stay again and would recommend to family and friends.
The area is beautiful to explore the sea near for a swim - great stay thank you.

Great experience
We stayed a week in the guest lodge. Loved it! Community is welcoming and really friendly, they shared their experiences from the heart. Lots of chances to sing, meditate, dance (which I didn’t think I’d enjoy). I was so busy I didn’t get time to go on any tours or yoga. I made space for going to the beach for a walk and swim every day. Cafe and shop are mind blowing. Buildings are fascinating. A little confusing at the start of the week, with so much going on in different places and no centralized place like a reception for visitors, it would have been good to have had an official welcome with better explanation and a visitors survival leaflet.
