I came across the village by confidence as I was looking for eco villages near me. I wanted to be inspired and see the endless life possibilities of sustainable and communal living. Google brought me here and what a treat. I felt welcomed and inspired. The highlights for us were the hottub and the conversations with the free spirited people we met. the Ecovillage of Findhorn has a special place in my heart. Don't expect beautiful and neat or modern buildings or everything tidy. Expect spirit, togetherness, warmth, love, inspiration, expect yourself being touched by Nature and yourself.
Expect beautiful ppl, amazing food from Daisy (if you let her cater your party), singing in Universal Hall, meditating in the Sanctuary.
The Guest House was perfect, soft beds, clean rooms, spacious bathrooms.
If I return I know where to go.
