Self - led Retreat 7 days
What an amazing time we had at Findhorn Eco Village. The guest lodge was superb, well equipped, clean and spacious.
So much to explore here in the community and around Findhorn. We were fortunate to stay when the dance festival was taking place so could take advantage of what was on offer.

All the people we met were friendly and made us feel welcome. I particularly enjoyed the spaces for meditation, yoga and to be able to use the amazing shop!

The beautiful sand dunes and beach are a short walk away through the forest. We were fortunate to see red squirrels, deer and dolphins.

Will definitely return in the future!

Thank you Findhorn Community.

A very special place
I did a self-led weekend retreat around the summer solstice. This means that there is no fixed program. I joined in with taizé singing, a Mayan fire ceremony, morning meditation, a tour of the place with historical background and I saw some (quite good) performances and danced on the beach. But the best thing is the atmoshphere, the friendliness of the people and the lushness of the nature which seems to respond to the intention of the people to live in harmony with it. I want to go back.

Stay at the Guest Lodge
Spent a wonderfull 6 nights at the Guest Lodge and enjoyed being back in The Park.
Accomondation was great - nice beds, nice bathrooms/toilets, well equipted kitchen, and the Guest Lodge was clean everywhere. It was nice and quiet during the night, and we slept very well:-).

We were 2 friends staying in a twin room, and were only given 1 key to the room. It would have been nice to have 2 keys, since we often were out doing each our own thing, and therefore had to coordinate who had the key, when.

And it would have been nice to have a place to stow our luggage on departure day. We checked out at 10am and left The Park at 3 pm. We left our bags in the Mailroom during departure day, where they took up quite some space.

All in all a nice stay.

Perfect retreat
I needed a week away to write and this was the perfect place for me. I could do as much or as little as I liked in terms of involving myself in community activities. And when I did go to meditation or Taisé, it was useful for my writing practice. I thought the price was very reasonable, the accommodation was great and I loved the people I met. I can’t wait to come back!
