Details of this retreat

Learning to breathe is one of your body's best kept health secrets and the most important thing you can do to support your physical and mental health.
Join Esther Kalaba, registered psychotherapist, art therapist, and breathwork expert, for a rejuvenating weekend retreat @ the SEED Lodge. Surrounded by nature’s beauty—fields, forests, fresh air, and peaceful silence—experience the transformative power of breathwork. You will experience the profound therapeutic effects of breathwork on reducing stress, anxiety, emotional regulation and strengthening your nervous system. Best of all, you will leave with a tool box of breathwork practices that you can turn to in times of stress... all while having a lot of fun (laughter is included in the curriculum!).

Throughout the retreat you will be guided step by step through various techniques from the Begin with Breath program so that you deepen your body awareness and learn the breath basics.
It's time to take a break from all of your responsibilites to re-connect to yourself and your life force energy through your breath.
This weekend getaway is an opportunity to be nourished and find inner balance with a supportive community. There is plenty of time for nature walks on the 50 acre property, art therapy, journaling, and deep rest.
This retreat is suitable for beginners or more experienced meditation practitioners. It is a wonderful self-care activity for people who work in health care or social service positions. Please contact us if you have any questions about whether this retreat is right fit for you.

More than i could ask for
A beautiful winter weekend. The hearth, the kitchen was so abundant with Maria making clean, delicious dishes. Esther turned all that good energy into awareness with the full schedule of breath work and yoga. Somehow there was enough time to meet other guests, great encounters, in the sauna and on snow shoes. Highly recommended. Two hours from the GTA, and a total refresh

I finally found calm.
This retreat was the first time that I was able to truly calm the racing thoughts in my mind and connect to my body as a source of support and healing. I had no idea that there were so many different ways to breathe and how important it was for mental health. Esther is a very experienced teacher with many years of working in the field of mental health. The lodge is beautiful and truly peaceful. Thank you, I will be back.

Amazing Retreat
Esther was amazing! She taught me so much about myself and my breathing, was able to help me build a toolbox of breathing techniques to help me with my life.

The Seed Lodge was very clean. Food was fantastic. The entire atmosphere was very welcoming and made it feel like a home away from home.

She has a large property that provides you with lots of space to hike and enjoy the outdoors.

I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it to anyone.
