About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

The Samauma center is situated 800 meters above sea level in the village of Aucaloma, overlooking the majestic Escalera mountain range, which connects the Amazon rainforest to the beginning foothills of the Andes.

It is in this alliance between jungle and mountain that this inner journey of 10 days is lived, between silence, nature and transformation.

This retreat is for those who feel the call of a return to oneself, to the Earth and to the simplicity of living. A time to free oneself, purify the body and mind, and regain clarity of the heart.

An immersion to the rhythm of the elements
Each day opens in presence and awareness:
- Ceremonies of sacred plants and purification rituals
- Guided meditations and spaces of silence
- Singing, breathing and movement of the living body
- Teachings on the elements and forces of nature
- Time for integration and sharing in the beauty of the place

🌞 An indoor altitude space
Samauma is a place of vision and anchorage. From its plateau, the gaze extends towards the Escalera mountain range, offering a sense of openness and rare reliance.

This 10-day internship is a door to an expanded consciousness, a return to the essence before the great initiatory journey on the sacred sites of the Andes, starting from May 2, 2026.

The internship includes:
- The set of activities, rituals, and accompaniments
- Accommodation in shared rooms (simple and warm comfort)
- Three vegetarian meals a day, prepared with local and organic products
- Transfers from Tarapoto on the day of arrival and departure
- The spiritual and therapeutic supervision provided by the Samauma team
