About this Retreat
Teaching yoga is one of Katarina's biggest passions.
Katarina is a Yoga Therapist at IU Health, working with oncology patients. Currently she co-leads a 200h YTT in Bloomington,IN and is now offering a 50h Yin YTT in Indianapolis.
She is originally from Slovakia, but has lived in the US for over 17 years now.
My personal yoga practice is the practice of my heart because yoga allows me to be who I truly am. To me, yoga is a path to deeper understanding. It is a tool to connect body, mind and spirit. It is a tool to cultivating courage, strength, compassion, kindness and love that are all so inherent to all of us. For me, Yoga is a daily practice of tuning in to myselves, it is a practice of connecting to my heart so that I can be reminded over and over again about the inherent qualities that reside within us – courage, compassion, kindness and love.
My journey over the past few years has been a beautiful confirmation of how dedication and consistent focus can bear the fruits of our grandest dreams. Such an elegant example of what can happen when our faith is bigger than our fear.
My love of Yoga is my offering to the community.
Details of this retreat
“Silent Sanctuary” is a deeply restorative 3-night retreat where guests are invited to step away from the noise of daily life and into a sacred container of silence, movement, breath, and nature. Your experience will be supported through:
- Daily hatha yoga in the morning
- Daily yin and restorative yoga in the late afternoon
- Lectures on presence, silence and stillness
I invite you to retreat with me in beautiful New Harmony, IN in the late summer of 2025 into a world of silence and presence. Together we will create a container of communal silence, a container that creates space for deep cellular repair and renewal.
Leaving the everyday barrage of stimuli for 4 days will allow for a much-needed deep emotional rest.
Recharge all of our inner wells!
