Juan was diagnosed with Lupus at the early age of 12, and this was the beginning of the journey into the wide array of healing arts: meditation, reiki, yoga, herbs, nutritional medicine, bodywork, breath-work. He has kept Lupus in remission for over two decades without medication and shares the lifestyle recipe for this.He studied physical therapy in USA, yoga teaching in Mexico, bodywork in Portugal, and Event Management in Italy. He founded these retreats around 2013 and has hosted a variety of retreats, from gourmet fermentation retreats, leaky gut detox retreats, and physical therapy retreats. He has handpicked every venue and facilitator from this program, taking care of the food menu, schedule, and activities.
Sadi has received a heritage of "uses y costumbres" in Mexico, a recognition from the government that allows him to practice according to native traditions. He learned what he knows from his grandmother who was also doing Temazcal and plant medicine ceremonies. His fire ceremony is strong yet gentle enough for everyone to enjoy the process while having a healing experience.
Sadi ceremony goes well beyond a temazcal native sweat lodge, he is very interested into people's stories and loves to share his own healing journey. He is very humble and connects with people from the heart. He has been leading his temazcal ceremony for about two decades. When he was younger he spent some time in the US, reason for which he is fully bilingual.
His ceremony is definitely one of the highlights of the retreat, as we go in his private land in a clean well groomed space with jungle nature, where sometimes families of monkeys pass by to say hi.

Life Synergy Retreat offers a five-day, four-night guided psilocybin wellness and ceremonial program in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, for two adults. Screening and acceptance are completed before any direct-booking deposit. The private program includes preparation, two facilitated ceremonies, yoga, meditation, breathwork, temazcal, cacao, sound/music, nature activities, all meals, and a one-to-one integration call after returning home. It is a wellness and ceremonial experience, not medical treatment, and does not promise a cure or specific outcome. Guests should disclose medications, supplements, health history, allergies, dietary needs and support needs during screening. Life changing
From the moment I spoke with Juan on the phone, I knew I was in good hands. But I didn't realise how much care goes into a Life Synergy retreat until I saw the team in action. EVERYTHING is taken care of -- food, transport, accommodation -- meaning I could just focus on making the most of my experience. Music and nature were the anchors of our ceremonies and our facilitators made us feel safe and supported at every stage of our personal journeys. June retreat, a blessing
This group is amazing! With all life stressors and challenges in taking time for this retreat, I was blessed to get connected with Juan. He and Tati and Michelle and Sadi made this spiritual journey for me an amazing experience. There is so much so say about everything in this 5 day experience. I may not have super enjoyed the hotel I was in, but this review has nothing to do with the hotel and everything to do with the wonderful work these folks do. They were warm, welcoming and supportive through all the days/ceremonies I went through with them. If you are considering going on a spiritual journey aided by these medicines, please know you are in good hands. You will be safe and loved and honored as you walk this path. I hope to see them all again someday, I know their supportive voices will be with me in the next chapter of my life.

Words aren't enough
I've had the opportunity to do this amazing retreat twice. Though the lessons from the medicine were unique each time (and sometimes not easy to process!), both times were the same in terms of quality (food, hotel, transportation), friendliness, warmth, and human connection. I never once felt unsafe or not being looked after, which was absolutely essential for me to be able to completely relax and let the medicine work its magic. I'm not surprised at all I'm not the only one who's decided to come back, and that many participants are sent by their loved ones. I wish I could convey the sense of mental peace and gratitude I've experienced after the temazcal ceremony, but words aren't enough. I honestly hope every single person on Earth gets to experience something like that at least once in their lives. I'm not planning to make a habit of this, but next time I feel the need of the medicine I know where I'll be headed. GRACIAS!

I'm still glowing from the experience - this whole retreat was crafted with so much love and genuine care. I'm incredibly thankful for the facilitators, each one of them shared so much wisdom and their local culture with us. I made new friends, laughed harder than I have in a long time and left feeling so much lighter. Thank you to Juan, Sadi, Michelle, Tatiana and all the other people that were involved behind the scenes. I'd recommend this experience in a heartbeat to anyone who has been struggling and wants to see life in a new light of appreciation. The locations where beautiful with Sadis temazcal ceremony being my highlight of the retreat. The food was great too. Again thank you to everyone and until we meet again.

The Incredible Sadi
After going through this experience, I cannot imagine it being with anyone other than Sadi. It was so very spiritual just being in his presence. The stories and history he explained to us cannot be read or googled. The first hand knowledge must be respected and that is Sadi. The care, empathy and thoughtfulness created a wonderful, warm feeling of safety and trust. I hope I come back and if I do, I want Sadi to be there………. Aho.
