Schedule

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome Banquet Under the Stars
2pm: Arrive, settle into your valley suite, and meet your hosts over a refreshing herbal welcome
4pm - 5pm: Optional: Join a soft-guided walk to explore the valley grounds, tea fields, and wellness spaces
5pm: Gather for our opening ritual: a serene Wuyi tea ceremony designed to ground, center, and set your intention for the days ahead
6pm - 7pm: Fireside welcome feast under the stars, paired with valley tea and gentle conversation
Evening: Retreat to your room for a botanical soak. Custom-blended essential oil salts await to help you drift into restful sleep
Day 2: Water & Harmony
8am - 8:30am: Qigong (Ba Duan Jin) led by a seasoned master to awaken body and breath
8:30am - 9:30am: Seasonal breakfast
9:30pm - 11am: Stream trek with optional foraging — or enjoy a riverside tea tasting beneath the trees
11am - 12pm: Rejuvenate with a warm herbal bath
12pm - 2:30pm: Nourishing valley lunch and leisure
2:30pm - 6pm: TCM consultation & traditional herbal incense healing workshop — scent meets self-discovery
6pm - 7 pm: Heartwarming dinner
7pm - 8pm: Sound healing session with traditional copper Gong bath — a deep vibrational reset
Day 3: Roots & Renewal
8am - 8:30am: Morning Qigong to activate vitality

9:30pm - 11am: Guided hike in the National Park with a local expert, learning the stories of Chinese medicinal plants
11am - 12pm: Organic picnic in the wilds (included during hike)
12pm - 2:30pm: Free time to rest or wander
2:30pm - 5pm: Onsite aromatic herb farm visit and and join a hydrosol distillation workshop — from plant to essence
5pm - 6 pm: Heartwarming dinner
6pm - 7pm: Guided meditation with natural essential oils — soft light, soft breath, full presence
Day 4: Tea Heritage & Waterscapes
8:30am - 9:30am: Unhurried breakfast in the morning sun
9:30pm - 12am: Scenic hike to the revered mother tree of Da Hong Pao (Wuyi Rock Tea) — a living tea legend
12:30pm - 14:30pm: Nourishing lunch and free time shopping in town
3:30pm - 5pm: Drift through the Nine-Twist Stream on a bamboo raft — green water, quiet soul
6pm - 7pm: Enjoy a traditional wuyi dinner in town
7:30pm - 8:30pm: Attend the Impression Da Hong Pao mountain water spectacle — dance, myth, and light on the cliffs
Day 5: Living Tea
8am - 8:30am: Qigong (BaDuanJin) led by master
8:30am - 9:30am: Wholesome breakfast
9:30pm - 12am: Visit tea factory & museum. Learn to pick, pan-fire, and roll your own Wuyi rock tea
12pm - 2pm: nourishing lunch and free time
2:30pm - 5:30pm: Step into an exclusive tea house for a private ceremony with a local tea master — a sacred pause
6pm - 7pm: Heartwarming dinner
7pm - 8pm: Group circle by the fire — stories, reflections, and soft music under the stars
Day 6: Integration & Farewell
8am - 8:30am: Qigong by the stream — your final morning breath in the valley
8:30am - 9:30am: Wholesome breakfast
9:30pm - 11:30am: Meditative tea ceremony by flowing water. Time to reflect, release, and integrate
12pm - 2pm: Parting brunch and closing ritual. A small gift awaits to carry the essence of the retreat home.

Directions

The journey begins in Wuyishan. The nearest airport is Wuyishan Airport (WUS); the nearest train station is Wuyishan North (高铁站). If you are taking the train, it will be about 3.5 hours from Shanghai HongQiao Station or 3 hours from Xiamen Station.
Private transfer (around 45 minutes) will be offered from / to the airport / train station.
