About this Retreat
Your Guides
Erik Hendrick and Nilda Quispe, driven by their personal healing journeys, encountered the wisdom of Shipibo curanderos. This transformative encounter led them to embark on a rigorous initiation process, becoming authorized guides for Ayahuasca ceremonies. Over many years, they dedicated themselves to mastering the use of medicinal plants and delving into Amazonian and Andean traditional medicine, particularly entheogenic plants. Trained directly by Shipibo maestros curanderos, they now share their knowledge and experience with others.
Erik Hendrick holds a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology and is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Development at the Anthropological University of Guadalajara. Along with Nilda Quispe, Erik is deeply committed to exploring and understanding the complexities of human nature. His ongoing education encompasses the study of mythology from various cultures, comparative religions, mysticism, wisdom traditions, depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, and psychedelic science. Both Erik and Nilda are engaged in continuous psycho-spiritual development.

Our retreats include 3 Ayahuasca ceremonies held at our tranquil retreat house, nestled in Peru's Sacred Valley of the Incas. These ceremonies are a unique synthesis of traditional Amazonian medicine, ancestral wisdom, and powerful psycho-spiritual techniques.
The retreat includes a San Pedro ceremony where you will participate in an ancient Inca ceremony, and after that, we will go hiking in a natural environment in the Sacred Valley to feel the connection with nature during your psychedelic exploration. Also you will participate in a Healing Sound session during the San Pedro ceremony.

Our Retreat Center is the perfect setting for Ayahuasca and other plant medicine retreats. Nestled in a secluded location, the house offers ample space for intimate group sessions (maximum 6 participants). Surrounded by sacred mountains and near the Urubamba River, our center provides a tranquil and inspiring environment, reminiscent of the path to Machu Picchu. The Sapan Inka Retreat Center boasts a dedicated space for Ayahuasca ceremonies, a serene temple designed for quiet reflection and profound experiences. This separate space, equipped with its own bathroom, ensures privacy and comfort during the sessions. Located on the firsta and second level of the retreat house, our guest rooms comfortably accommodate two people each. Our guides are always readily available, ensuring easy communication and support throughout the night.
