Perhaps you are already attracted by the potential of medicinal plants, but you are afraid to practice because you lack the necessary foundational knowledge. Becoming a herbalist involves time, patience, devotion, and direction. Our commitment is to train mindful herbalists with an in-depth understanding of medicine and holistic practice, giving high-quality and comprehensive education in herbal medicine from a professional and broader viewpoint. The Herbalist Practice Course blends field training with face-to-face classes in the real scenarios for herbalists.

The core of the program is the study of Holism, Herbalism and Natural Therapies, while the real-time Herbalist Practice will let you explore Practical techniques and Herbal preparations with workshops and activities. The aim of this Course is to transmit the ideal knowledge and right intentions for preparing the individual for further inner work with the guidance of plants according to wisdom and traditions. We will dive into jungle herbal remedies, first aid herbals, professional tincturing, medicated creams, essential oils and soap making, along with medicinal mushrooms elixirs and standardized preparations just to mention a few. During your stay you will also have access to a variety of academic sources that have been gathered to support your studies independently. Our aim is to help grow the resilience of the herbal community and ensure that students develop all the basic skills to be successful and inspired.

Our courses are officially recognized and accredited with CMA the Complementary Medical Association, one of the most professional institutions for therapists.

Location: Chirripo' Valley, Costa Rica
Applications: open all year-round
Theoretical classes (44 h) are normally held in the morning while the practical work and activities (36 h) in the afternoon. Extra hours are dedicated to the Final Exam and Tutoring. Cacao ceremonies are also offered.
