About this Retreat
Mark Cooper is a highly experienced yoga teacher and teacher trainer with a passion for creating welcoming, inclusive spaces where people can explore movement, breath, and self-awareness. As founder of Millpond Yoga, he bringssignificant experience in guiding students of all levels through practices that are both grounded and transformative.
Known for his warm, down-to-earth teaching style, Mark blends traditional yoga philosophy with accessible, thoughtful sequencing. He has trained and mentored dozens of new teachers, and continues to deepen his own practice through ongoing study and community engagement.
Whether leading a group class, a retreat session, or a teacher training module, Mark creates a calm, supportive environment that encourages connection—within and with others.
With over 25 years of experience in the food industry, your host Clare brings a deep understanding of how what we eat, and how we eat it, shapes how we live. A journey through yoga—and a connection with guides and teachers—led her to discover Ayurveda, where her love of food found a natural, holistic home.
Trained in Ayurveda and complementary therapies, Clare founded Millpond Wellness to share these ancient practices and help others reconnect with their health and wellbeing. In partnership with Mark at Millpond Yoga, she now runs workshops, retreats, and short courses that blend nourishing food, mindful movement, and seasonal self-care.
Throughout this retreat, Clare will mindfully prepare nourishing food, with love.
Expect a retreat that’s thoughtful, grounded, and created with heart—from someone who truly lives what she shares.
