Originally hailing from Lisbon, Ruben discovered his true calling upon settling in the serene landscapes of Alentejo. Armed with a degree in the social services sector and counseling, he honed his skills at a specialized institution catering to youth grappling with profound emotional disorders and addiction challenges. From an early age, Ruben harbored a steadfast belief in the potential for enduring transformation in individuals and the power to heal trauma, paving the way for a more fulfilling existence.

Driven by this conviction, Ruben delved deeper into the realm of addiction, dedicating himself to aiding those entangled in the grip of substance misuse. Since 2019, he has been an integral part of the team at Quinta da Fé, the nurturing haven of Tabula Rasa Retreat. Here, Ruben embodies compassion, discretion, attentiveness, and empathy, serving as the primary liaison between our esteemed guests and our comprehensive support network.

Ruben's unwavering faith in the therapeutic potency of love, nurtured by his own healing journey, fuels his commitment to each guest's well-being. He firmly advocates that unlocking and nurturing the inner child within is paramount to achieving lasting recovery and embracing a life brimming with joy and fulfillment.
