Matt Little is a psychotherapist, addiction specialist and Clinical Director of Pesona Jiwa – Charm of the Soul in Bali, Indonesia.
He holds a Master’s Degree with Distinction in Counselling & Psychotherapy Practice and a Diploma in Counselling. He is a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), an International Certified Addiction Professional (ICAP I), an Addiction Professionals Advanced Practitioner Member, and is Polyvagal Institute Certified.
Matt has more than 15 years of experience across counselling, psychotherapy, addiction recovery, trauma-informed practice and mental-health support. His work focuses particularly on trauma, burnout, nervous-system dysregulation, addiction recovery and other complex personal challenges.
His approach is integrative and person-centred, combining psychotherapy with evidence-informed approaches including motivational interviewing, CBT, nervous-system regulation and polyvagal-informed practice.
At Pesona Jiwa, Matt leads a multidisciplinary Indonesian and Balinese clinical and wellness team providing highly private, individualised residential support. Pesona Jiwa works with one guest at a time in a private villa environment, allowing programmes to be shaped around the individual rather than a group timetable.
The emphasis is on privacy, therapeutic depth, nervous-system regulation and personalised care, while maintaining an environment that feels calm, human and non-institutional.
