About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Throughout his extensive Amazonian shamanic practice, Luis has immersed himself in a rich shamanic lineage and has worked with numerous Master Plants from the Amazon. As the brother of César, he embodies the deep-rooted traditions of Banco Huachumero Shamans and curanderos, firmly grounded in the pure jungle tradition.

With more than 10 years of experience in ceremonies, Luis is a master in the preparation of Huachuma (San Pedro) and possesses an extensive knowledge of a wide array of Amazonian Master Plants. He understands how these plants can catalyze holistic healing and expanded awareness for those who attend our ceremonies at Takinuna.

Luis is also in charge of plant and flower cleansings, overseeing every step from the meticulous handmade preparation to the careful delivery of these sacred cleansings. His expertise and attention to detail ensure that each cleansing ritual is performed with the utmost care and respect, creating a purified and harmonious environment for healing. These cleansings play a crucial role in preparing participants’ energetic bodies, facilitating the release of negative energies, and setting a sacred space for profound transformation.
