At Takinuna Healing Centre, we integrate ancestral Amazonian plant medicine with professional psychotherapy to guide deep, holistic healing. Takinuna is a peaceful retreat with a minimalist design, immersed in the Amazon rainforest. It features spacious rooms, a traditional maloka for ceremonies and treatments, and a terrace for relaxing with tea. Open spaces allow for a deep connection with nature, while jungle paths offer scenic walks. Guests can enjoy meals in the communal dining area and take in breathtaking views from our viewpoint, creating an ideal setting for healing, reflection, and immersion in the natural world.

Getting Here
Takinuna Healing Centre, Río Momón, near Iquitos, Loreto - Peru
Directions
To reach us, first fly into Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima, Peru. From there, take a domestic flight to Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta Airport (IQT) in Iquitos, as Iquitos is only accessible by air or river and receives domestic flights only.
We recommend booking your arrival in Iquitos around 2:00 p.m., if possible.
Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the airport or, depending on timing, at a nearby restaurant where you can wait comfortably. From there, you’ll be driven to the port, where a private boat will take you to our retreat centre, located just 40 minutes from Iquitos, deep in the Amazon rainforest.
