Samasati Wellness and Yoga Retreat

The Samasati Nature Retreat is a destination resort with boutique charm and curated for those who like to travel off the beaten path. Set 850 feet up within the tree canopy, Samasati offers eco-friendly accommodations amidst a lush rainforest and tropical gardens. Overlooking the Caribbean and some of the best beaches of Central America, Samasati has been a pioneer of Sustainable Tourism as well as one of the first Yoga destinations in Costa Rica.

Our eco-friendly wood cabins at Samasati were built to blend in perfectly with our private primary rainforest preserve. Our open-air restaurant serves delicious buffet-style vegetarian food (fish and chicken are available to add-on). Fruit is grown in Samsati\'s own sustainable gardens and locally crafted chocolate is transported in from the nearby cacao plantations.

Within the nature reserve is also an outdoor Jacuzzi, a juice bar with sitting areas and tree canopy deck as well as two serene yoga and meditation studios. To unwind, guests can take a yoga or meditation class with Samasati\'s resident yoga teacher or Guest Artist and enjoy various Spa and wellness therapies such as a Thai Yoga Massage or Chocolate-Coffee Body Treatment. With several rainforest trails on property, there is adventure around every corner.
