LA MUSA VERDE - Great place to start your personal transformation
In April 2026, I completed a 10-day Traditional Ayahuasca Diet with Christian Becker at La Musa Verde in Tarapoto, and it was one of the most profound experiences of my life.
The retreat began with an ayahuasca ceremony on Saturday. Initially, I was joined by a couple from France, but after they left early, I had the rare opportunity to experience the entire three-hectare property in complete peace and privacy. The center is beautifully located at the entrance of the Alta Shilcayo rainforest reserve, surrounded by nature in its purest form.
My bungalow was very comfortable, with a terrace overlooking much of the property, offering both tranquility and a sense of connection to the space. Christian also prepared delicious vegetarian meals before the Saturday ceremonies.
I chose the most intensive version of the diet, including a six-day fast. Although challenging, this deep level of commitment proved incredibly rewarding, especially in combination with the gentle use of ayahuasca during several evenings throughout the week.
The two main Saturday ceremonies, each lasting several hours, were truly extraordinary — far beyond anything I could have imagined. The experience was further elevated by exceptional live music. It’s clear that Christian’s background as a professional musician plays a significant role in creating such a powerful atmosphere.
Beyond his musical talent, Christian brings a rare combination of empathy, intuition, and analytical depth. His presence throughout the retreat felt both supportive and protective, which is essential in such a process. La Musa Verde itself has a unique energy — it genuinely feels like a small piece of paradise.
Without a doubt, this was one of the best investments I have made in my 48 years of life.
