Templo del Tigre offers highly personalized, 1:1 plant medicine retreats in Costa Rica, nestled in the lush jungle of the Osa Peninsula, one of the most biodiverse regions on Earth. Your journey is guided by healers Gwendal and Negar, both initiated as Curanderos/Tabaqueros in the Peruvian Amazon. Our retreats focus on sacred Tobacco (Mapacho) and Amazonian Master Plants—including Bobinsana, Chiric Sanango, Chuchuhuasi, Ayahuma, Tamamuri, and others—to support detox, healing, transformation, and mental and spiritual clarity. Each participant receives private ceremonies tailored to their journey, with preparation, intake calls, and ongoing integration support. Directions
By Air: Sansa offers daily flights from San José to Puerto Jiménez (approx. 50 minutes). Check schedules at flysansa.com

By Car: From San José, take the Interamericana Highway (HWY 2) south. At Chacarita, turn right onto HWY 245 and follow signs to Dos Brazos de Río Tigre. Use Google Maps to navigate to “Templo del Tigre.”
By Bus: Daily buses depart San José for Puerto Jiménez at 12:00 pm from Terminal Atlántico Norte, arriving around 8:00 pm.
Retreat Transfers: We provide a group taxi for all retreat participants between Puerto Jiménez and Templo del Tigre. Pick-up is arranged on the first day of the retreat, and return transport is provided at the end of the retreat.
