Our retreat is styled with a modern African aesthetic, blending natural textures and curated design to create a space that feels both light-filled and warmly inviting. Each corner of Wholeness Haven invites you to slow down, reconnect, and simply be. Located across the road from the famous cliff paths where you can enjoy land based whale watching between July and October, while views of the mountains are to the north.
Town is just a short distance away for evening dinners.

Arriving at the Cape Town International Airport either from a direct flight, or in transit via OR Tambo in Johannesburg South Africa. It is recommended that you hire a rental car for the drive to Hermanus, enabling you to explore the beautiful coastline and the small surrounding towns at your leisure. From the airport take the N2 east via Somerset West, over Sir Lowry’s Pass Continue past Botriver Take the R43 turnoff to Hermanus Follow R43 through Vermont, Onrus, Sandbaai into Hermanus town center At the first traffic circle turn left into Royal Street At the first traffic circle turn Right into Lord Roberts Street At the first traffic circle turn left into Main Road At the first traffic light turn left into Brug street The first house on your Right is Wholeness Haven Distance: 102–104 km Time: 1 h 15 m – 1 h 20 m under normal traffic
