About this Retreat
Damini Sargam is a dedicated and intuitive Teacher, Yogi, Psychologist, Multidisciplinary Energy Healing Practitioner, specializing in Sound Healing, Meditation, Breathwork and Yoga.
She has over 12+ years of experience in teaching thousands of students from across the globe.
Her work brings together ancient Vedic wisdom with modern psychological understanding, sound and frequency-based therapies, nervous-system awareness, feminine and masculine energy work, yogic practices, vedic rituals, and energy-balancing approaches.
Damini had studied Sound in Mumbai since early childhood as a part of her family lineage.
She had the opportunity to work around many Masters and learn from their depth and dedication.
The practice of Nada Yoga, or the yoga of sound, and classical Indian Ragas incorporated vocal chants, mantras, the tone of the human voice, silence, and vibrations of musical instruments to balance and harmonize the chakras; sound could reach deep within the human psyche, bringing about profound transformation and restoration.
From the rhythmic beats of indigenous drums to the delicate tones of Himalayan singing bowls, she learned sound healing as an ancient practice where vibrations from instruments are used to shift energy within the body.
Damini also studied psychology internationally, with a Master's from India and Germany.
She has done extensive research in the field, exploring the complexities of the human mind and behavior.
The unconscious mind includes all of the things that are outside of our conscious awareness, such as early childhood memories, desires, and hidden drives.
We bury these things in our unconscious because they might be socially unacceptable or bring us internal conflict.
While these thoughts, memories, and urges are outside of our awareness, they still influence how we think and behave.
The conscious mind, on the other hand, includes everything that is inside of our awareness.
Damini integrates Feminine and Masculine Energy Balance within the framework of Energy Healing. The Divine Masculine is the energy that affirms us and supports the sacred Feminine to be seen and shine.
The Divine Masculine perfectly complements the Divine Feminine aspects of receiving, healing, being intuitive, calming, in flow, loving, and safely vulnerable.
We all have both energies within us and this energy isn't related to our gender but it plays a huge role in determining who we attract and how we behave in a relationship.
When we heal and balance the masculine & feminine energies within, there can be a divine union in relationship, where each feels safe, held in their highest potential, creating trust & deep intimacy.
Damini also specializes in Women's Healing where students learn about Feminine-based movement practices to support energetic flow, menstrual cycle, womb healing, generational trauma, ancestral and karmic release work and navigating stuck emotions.
Damini encourages students to explore the philosophy and practices of the Divine Feminine through the lens of the Shakta Tantra tradition—one of India's oldest spiritual lineages devoted to the worship of Shakti, the creative power that gives birth to all life.
Damini integrates the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda- one of the world's most ancient medical systems and one of India’s oldest traditional healthcare systems.
Ayurvedic texts have mentioned that a human is entwined indefinitely with nature and the cosmos over the course of time. Ayurveda deals with the flow of energy in the human body.
She places important emphasis on Pranayama. It is much more than a mere breathing exercise; it is a profound spiritual technology designed to govern the subtle energies that animate the human body.
The scriptural roots of Pranayama are found in the Upanishads and the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, where it is described as a method to purify the Nadis (energy channels) and prepare the practitioner for higher states of consciousness. In the Vedic tradition, the breath is seen as the subtle connection between the Atman (Soul) and the material world.
Damini is also a trained Fine Art Professional. She is deeply immersed in spiritual Art and has worldwide collectors of her paintings. She integrates art therapy and creative expression through Yantra painting in her trainings.
In spiritual terms, a yantra is not just a symbol—it is a living force. A Yantra is essentially an instrument of control, concentration, and spiritual elevation. Used across various traditions, especially in Hindu and Tantric practices, it acts as a bridge between the practitioner and the cosmic energies.
Damini remains personally involved in the Training and Retreats, ensuring each participant’s experience to be adapted according to their emotional needs, boundaries and comfort.
Damini creates a safe and nurturing space where students are encouraged to explore their spiritual potential. Her teachings blend traditional techniques with modern sensibility, making profound practices accessible to students of all levels.
She works around a profound and meaningful understanding: our thoughts, emotional patterns, breathing patterns, physical self, nervous system, relationships, way of living, and sense of being has a deeper impact.
With a deeply spiritual approach and a compassionate presence, she guides her students through powerful inner practices that awaken energy, balance the mind, and elevate consciousness.
Her deep expertise and compassionate teaching style have made her a sought-after teacher in the field. Her integrated background enables her to teach people from various backgrounds. She creates a confidential and non-judgmental space where trust can develop naturally and every person is respected for their own lived experience.

Healing our Internal Masculine & Feminine Energies
The idea of balancing feminine and masculine energies is far from new. Different traditions have used different names, but the theme is the same: life is shaped by dualities. Opposing forces like light and dark, action and rest, structure and flow guide how we experience the world.
Before we spoke of feminine and masculine, we also saw these patterns in:
Yin & yang (Taoism): Yin embodies the receptive, dark, fluid qualities; Yang represents the active, bright, structured forces. Neither exists without the other.
Shakti & shiva (Hinduism): Shakti is dynamic, creative energy; Shiva is stillness and form. Their union symbolizes the balance of movement and structure.
Goddess/god archetypes: Many myths illustrate aspects of the feminine and masculine in human (or well, god-like) form.
Indigenous traditions: Many stories talk of balance as a fundamental principle in the natural world. We witness it in the dual forces of sun and moon, earth and sky, fire and water. The key aspects of the divine masculine are to protect, to give and provide. Other traits include being grounded, purpose driven, logical and taking action. The divine masculine perfectly complements the divine feminine aspects of receiving, healing, spirituality, being intuitive, calming, being in flow, being loving, affectionate and safely vulnerable.
Healthy divine aspect: shining light on what is unhealthy/ wounded. Alchemising this into healthy divine energy
Wounded aspect: led by ego, moving into pain, place of darkness and fear
Balancing these two energies is key to a more balanced and better world. Both energies have a healthy divine aspect and a wounded aspect.
The Divine Feminine-
Regardless our gender, she lives within each of us. If we embrace the divine feminine within us we treat our bodies as temples - an act of devotion towards ourself. The more we honour our bodies the more we deepen our relationship with Mother Earth, for we are her.
Embracing the divine feminine connects us to the sacredness on Earth - resonating and vibrating with her.
Healing Modalities-
You begin by studying the foundations of human experience—anatomy, physiology, nervous system function, breath, psychology, emotions, subconscious conditioning, sound, Vedic and yogic philosophy, traditional energy anatomy, ethics, and the therapeutic relationship.
By the end of the immersion, you will not simply possess a larger toolkit. You will have begun developing a different way of seeing—one that recognizes the body, nervous system, breath, thoughts, emotions, senses, energy, relationships, meaning, and consciousness as parts of one interconnected life.
Rishikesh- A living spiritual heritage
Rishikesh holds this process in an environment shaped by yoga, mantra, contemplation, and spiritual inquiry.
The river brings rhythm; the mountains bring stillness; the curriculum gives you the knowledge to bring both qualities into your work.
Held within the spiritually alive atmosphere of Rishikesh, the training combines intensive study, hands-on practice, inner exploration, and practitioner formation.
This is a 21-day, 20-night, 150-hour Energy Healing and Multi-Modality Training.
The course places special emphasis on the psychological dimensions of practice: subconscious conditioning, emotional patterns, trauma sensitivity, therapeutic communication, practitioner awareness, and the healing relationship.
The course also places special emphasis on Women's Healing and Divine Feminine practices through the lens of the Shakta Tantra tradition, one of India's oldest spiritual lineages. You will learn about Feminine-based movement practices to support energetic flow, menstrual cycle, and pelvic health. The course will dive deep into topics like ancestral healing, womb work, birth imprint reprogramming and Embodiment practices. These are an integral part of learning while working on Women's Healing.
Honouring the Divine Feminine-
By honouring our menstrual cycles: aligning to our inner seasons and doing so in our communities, places of work, intimate relationships. Being aware of the cycle of birthing, creating and dying a woman goes through each month. If there isn’t a menstrual cycle anymore, then honouring the phases of the moon.
By honouring our temples: treating our physical health with a desire for wholeness. This also leads back to our relationships with friends and intimacy, who do we allow in?
By honouring our intuitive knowing: speaking and sharing from our heart, from our wombs, allowing the wisdom to flow through us.
By honouring the moon and her cycles: recognising how the moon’s energy and phases connect with our menstruation cycles and with our lives.
By honouring our ancestors: whose blood flows in our bones and have given us life. Our mother’s lineage connects us with our inner creative power, and our father’s lineage connects us with our soul-purpose.
By honouring the mystery of the unknown: surrendering to the void, the unknown. From silent spaciousness the mystical spiritual experience is born
By honouring the sacred union of the divine feminine with the divine masculine: To bridge the divine feminine with the divine masculine to to create the wholeness of sacred union within our lives. We need them both the activation and the being part.
Different situations bring out different sides of your energy – so you may find yourself more feminine around family, and more masculine at work. Or vice versa!
These energies work in harmony with each other – we don’t have to pick one over the other. There is no “wrong” energy in a situation. When these energies and qualities come from a healed place, it doesn’t matter what the situation is – the outcome will be in our favour.
Your unique preference on choosing a more feminine or masculine orientation towards most of life’s events has much deeper roots: it’s your soul’s preference that has evolved over many lifetimes. And, speaking of lifetimes, let’s now address the metaphysical nature of these energies.
Sound Healing Training-
You will spend substantial time handling instruments, comparing frequencies, developing listening sensitivity, practicing placement and sequencing, and learning how sound intensity, rhythm, silence, duration, and practitioner presence can shape an experience.
This is not an ordinary singing-bowl or tuning-fork course. While introductory programs may stop at instrument striking, relaxation sequences, or basic tuning-fork massage, we continue into the deeper questions: How does the body receive vibration, why do individuals respond differently, how should intensity and frequency be selected, and when should an approach be modified or avoided?
The expansive qualities of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, voice, and therapeutic soundscapes are gradually united with the precision of weighted and non-weighted tuning forks.
You move far beyond basic bowl striking or mechanical tuning fork massage and begin understanding the reasoning behind instrument choice, frequency selection, pacing, placement, and adaptation.
The practices are experienced as one interdependent system. Breath may prepare the body to receive sound. Mindfulness may reveal what is arising. Mantra can give vibration an intentional vocal form. Sound healing creates an immersive field, while tuning fork therapy introduces focused vibrational precision.
You will also be invited to observe yourself. Your reactions, expectations, personal triggers, confidence, boundaries, and relationship with silence become part of your development.
