About this Retreat
As a former dancer, Jaclyn first discovered yoga in 2007 at a gym in San Francisco. She was immediately drawn to the rhythm, flow, and familiarity of movement. The physical outlet quickly deepened into a lifelong practice, upon her discovering that yoga was not just as a physical practice, but a quiet unfolding; a way to soften, to listen, to return. In the years since, her journey has taken her around the globe, allowing her to study under countless esteemed teachers and unroll her mat in twelve different countries.
A Yoga Alliance certified teacher (RYT-200), Jaclyn completed her foundational training in Seattle. Driven by a deep commitment to lifelong learning and a desire to serve her students fully, she has continued her education and holds advanced certifications in Yin, Slow Flow, Hormonal Balance through Ayurvedic Wisdom and Mantra & Myth.
Deeply inspired by art, music, and nature, Jaclyn brings a creative eye and sensory awareness to everything she does. Through her rhythmic sequencing and empowering guidance, students are invited to explore their own boundaries, consistently leaving her classes feeling centered, joyful, and perhaps a little lighter than when they arrived.
Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time, returning after some time away, or deepening a long-standing practice, the emphasis in Jaclyn’s classes is always on doing what feels good and right in your own body. The practice is never about striving for perfection, but about cultivating presence.
Britt DiNatale is a second-degree nurse who spent a decade delivering nursing care in Emergency Departments around the Washington DC metro area following a successful executive-level career in corporate marketing and communications.
With a passion for nurse leadership development, Britt also co-created and facilitated the Nurse LEAD Program, which trained numerous cohorts of nurse leaders across the country to gain confidence in a wide range of skills from engaging teams, to navigating change, and communicating effectively.
Music has been a constant thread throughout Britt’s life, from her master’s degree in ethnomusicology studying how music shapes community and movement, to years performing as a semi-professional singer-songwriter in New York City. She sees music as a powerful channel for finding and experiencing your voice, creating space for emotional expression and authentic connection.
The thread running throughout Britt’s career is a passion to give the healthcare workforce, particularly nurses, a voice, advocating for improved work environments, reconnecting with the purpose and meaning of their work, and seeing nurses as change agents in needed healthcare transformation.
Britt also sits on ANA’s National Workplace Violence Prevention Workgroup and continues to follow her passion for musical performance by sitting on the Board of Trustees for Music for All Seasons, a non-profit using the power of live music to support communities in need. She will draw on this diverse background to offer participants creative pathways to reconnection and renewal.
