Arkana Spiritual Center invites you to a profound voyage of self discovery at Arkana's impressive venue in the Yucatan Peninsula. The program is a carefully orchestrated sequence of sacred ancestral medicines, complemented by spiritual practices and workshops aimed at balancing your body, mind and spirit. All ceremonies will be lead by our powerful team of talented shamans and our compassionate facilitators.

Sacred Medicines
Sapo (from the Bufo Alvarius toad in the Sonoran desert) contains the 5Meo DMT molecule which is also known as the God or Spirit molecule. This short and profound ceremony offers an intense, concentrated, and deeply mystical experience comparable to Hindu experiences of Moksha and Samadhi or Buddhist experiences of Nirvana. This medicine will be offered as an optional add-on for the retreat for an extra cost.
Psilocybe Mushrooms: Also known as niños santos (Holy Children) in Mexico, Psilocybe Mushrooms are powerful entheogens sought after for known for their ability to induce altered states of consciousness and their profound healing properties. They are very effective at treating diseases like depression, social anxiety, PTSD, addiction. They also heal traces of trauma stemming from physical, mental and sexual abuse. We will be serving this sacred medicine in its original Mazatec ritual, guided by shamans from the lineage of Abuela Julieta, a member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers.
Flight Information
• Nearest Airport: Cancun International Airport CUN
• Inbound: We recommend flying in the day prior to the start of the retreat so you can get settled in.
• Outbound: You can fly out any time after 8pm on the last day of the retreat (Saturday). We recommend staying overnight in Cancun and flying out on Sunday.
Ground Transportation: We provide a complimentary shuttle to/from the Center from Cancun.

Absolutely life-changing
I can't put into words how much I value my time at Arkana in the jungle. The staff went above and beyond to make everything so perfect. It was challenging at times, but that is part of the process. With healing comes challenges. The space was beautiful and comfortable and everyone associated with that place are top-notch. I highly recommend a trip to visit Arkana. You won't regret it.

My experience at Arkana was so powerful and amazing.. it was my first time going to an ayahuasca retreat and despite my nervousness I immediately felt a close connection to all the facilitators and staff... They went above and beyond to ensure that we felt safe and I had complete trust in everyone of the guests and the people that helped to make it a very positive experience and I will most definitely be returning to that location because I developed a very close relationship with everyone and felt like we were a family...all the facilitators were always available to talk and I left feeling like I'd accomplished so much!!.... Being surrounded by the living, breathing rainforest amplifies the sacred relationship between nature and spirit. To experience the medicine in the heart of the jungle—the birthplace of the ayahuasca tradition—is profoundly moving.

Life changing retreat
Arkana spiritual centre is one of the most unique and well thought out retreat centers I have ever been to. Not only is the programming extremely nourishing and supportive but every single person that works there has a clear love and passion for the cause and for all guests that come. The setting is incredible, the food is out of this world and the spiritual community and the Shamans are outstanding. I had a really transformative experience and made friends that I know will last a lifetime. The entire team from upper management to centre staff are caring and thoughtful and made my time truly unforgettable. I will be back !

Everyone should go at least once.......
One of the best experiences of my life. The facilities were top notch! One would think out in the middle of the jungle would be really roughing it. I had a king size bed, fan over the bed, mosquito netting, cute suite with a large shower and plenty of space. The staff took care of the tiniest of details to folding my clothes to remembering I didn't like a particular food. We also were fortunate enough to visit the Sacred Valley sight as well, much more boutique hotel than eco lodge but the food was once again excellent and the staff just as attentive.
The work being done was intense but very safe. The facilitators were extremely attentive to each person in real time during ceremonies, before and after as well. Always checking in to make sure your experience was going well.
If you are hearing the call from mother Aya...this would be the only place I would go. This was the most authentic, safe, and loving adventure.
