7 Day Ayahuasca Retreat at an authentic Finca in Mexico

The experience at Mexisoul was, for me, AMAZING! The time spent there was better than I could have imagined. From the first day I felt cared for and safe. The staff, facilitators, and volunteers were gracious and there to help us navigate the experiences towards the best possible outcome. The times in ceremony with the plant medicines were profound and have enhanced my sense of self, expanded my awareness and acceptance of my dark and light sides, and given me tools to help better cope with a world that seems to be spinning further and further out of control. I have a keen sense of peace and contentment in my days since returning home and I would highly recommend Mexisoul as the place you choose to do your first plant medicine retreat. You will be changed for the better.

Brilliant experience! I felt well taken care of and fully encouraged & supported in every aspect of the retreat and life at the beautiful Finca property. From the pickup at Guadalajara Airport to the accommodations, the food & drinks and the entire facilities were excellent and more than my expectations.
The quality of the medicine offered, the Shaman, the musicians and the many supportive staff members was extraordinary.

I attended the August 2024 retreat at Mexisol, so this review is long overdue. It’s hard to put into words just how transformative this experience was; so, to help me find the words, I looked back at my journal, the pictures and videos… it has brought up so many amazing memories and emotions. In short… There is magic in this place and in its people… REAL magic! I can’t imagine a better program with more brilliant, insightful, talented, gifted and dedicated people in service to their calling. The ingeniously designed itinerary and the safe space they create while also giving you the tools & entertainment to make the most of your experience are exceptional. The property, accommodations and food were also amazing. I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Mexisol; I left with an abundance of joy in my heart and continue to cherish it daily. I eagerly wait for the Universe to call me again to Mexisol and can’t wait to see what I learn next time. In long… While the Universe probably guides much of what happens at the Finca, everything seems planned to the last detail where you are never left wanting and get the exact messages & experiences you need to receive whether you were looking for them or not. I came to Mexisol as more of a curious explorer hoping that it would help confirm my path to pursue my calling. I got that and so much more healing than I ever expected. I learned so many things at the retreat… how to process, journal and integrate. How to meditate, breathe and to think exponentially more deeply. I put into practice being present, creating safe spaces, healing and projecting my love & support to others. I finally found my voice and felt safe being vulnerable in front of others. But I wouldn’t have had nearly the exceptional experience I had without the many people there that made it possible. From the “management” to the staff, from the volunteers to the grounds keepers and to the 15 other participants that made this experience so special to me… thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’d love to call them out each by name to thank them but will opt to recognize the following since it might help you make your decision on whether or not Mexisol is right for you… - The program is so intrinsically brilliant that even the 15 other participants, in which I was lucky enough to attend, felt hand picked just for me. And I hope I have made lifelong friends with each one of them. Thank you! - Ruger, your vision for what Mexisol is and what it will become is exceptional. You’re brilliant and absolutely on the right path to see your calling succeed… helping many, many, many people with what they need along their journeys. I trust you to bring good into the world. - Humberto, you are indeed a magical man. I couldn’t imagine a more perfect Shaman to help guide me on my path. Your meditations took me on a journey of discovering the vastness of the universe and the magnitude of my own little world. You have a gift I am glad you are sharing with all whom seek it. - Jamie (integration), Marina, Christa and all the other teachers who gave guidance & advice and taught meditations & breathing techniques… you are all so brilliant, wise and dedicated to your callings; you are vital to the success and uniqueness of this retreat. - The music, the singing and the dancing were instrumental (not sorry for the pun) in driving each of the experiences… there are no words to express the power and pure joy these talented performers conveyed. They take you on a journey that lifts the heart and brings tears to your eyes. I’m still humming the songs weeks later and get goosebumps when I share with friends and family. - The food was “simple” and delicious! Too good actually… the pre-retreat diet was a dedicated struggle for me, but the food there was so good it makes me think I can really enjoy eating healthy in my everyday life… and I have continued to do so… but would still really appreciate a Finca El Pendulo cookbook. - The accommodations were simple, clean and amazing! The property is beautiful and filled with magic. You can’t beat being woken up to the sound of horses and donkeys galloping past your room in the morning and watching them graze up-close during the day. The sound of those beautiful wolves howling as you go to sleep is so special too. - …I could go on, but it truly does need to be experienced to capture it all. We are all in process; learning to grow and deal with difficult things to help find or remember who we really are. This place and these unique, special people guide you along this path as they walk their own… sometimes leading by example when necessary but they also give you the freedom find your own path after giving you the tools. So when you are called to this experience, I can’t imagine a better place to go than Mexisol Retreats. Good luck on your journeys!
