About this Retreat
Iboga has been a major Mentor in my life, always whispering wisdom in the Wind.
As a trained Reiki practitioner, Bodyworker, Addiction recovery coach, somatic therapist, breathwork practitioner, I find it in my joy to support others through the important healing journey that Life is.
Trained and Initiated by a Bwiti Elder who encouraged me to find my own way, I have carried a keen listening ear through life learning from Plants, Animals and People. I have also been trained and initiated to serve Bufo and have worked extensively with San Pedro - Huachuma.
I have been providing care and ceremony for more than 6 years and it is my pleasure to offer unique ceremonies and retreat with an incredible emphasis on Integration. I have worked with Iboga directly learning to grow and harvest the plant in a sustainable manner. I have served in many countries and owned a Cermonial Clinic in Guatemal for 2 years which provided ceremonies for both locals and tourists with a strong focus on addiction, especially Alcoholism. Our program included longer stays and training in Permaculture as well as beekeeping to support with integration as well as providing skills for people to integrate back into society.
Today, I live in Canada, British columbia with my wife and am the Owner and Founder of Rooted Waters based at the Wakyanii Sanctuary, a 5 acre land which is stewarded by my Wife and I. The land is host to many honeybees and soon farm animals - it exudes beauty, with a beautiful pond, Cedar groves and an incredible abundance of flowers. We grow food, tend honey bees and much more. Our Centre will be available for longer stays so that people can be in the Medicine, in a safe space and being tended to.
I am a passionate Beekeeper, Gardener, Nature lover, Artist, poet and apprentice Jade carver.
