This retreat is an opportunity to deepen your yoga practice, experience our food as medicine approach, and indulge in the ultimate self-care experience, through body treatments and energy movement.

Our body therapies and signature services focus on the rich ingredients of Costa Rica and reflect our unique ocean and jungle surroundings. All of our spa treatments use local oils, ingredients, and lotions.

This is a rolling date retreat package meaning that we offer this all year around. Although there will likely be other individuals/couples on this retreat package during your stay, there is no specific start date or end date or designated retreat group.

Peace Retreat is located in the town of Playa Negra, along the stunning Pacific Gold Coast in the Province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, near Tamarindo.

Accommodation

Peace Retreat is a wellness centre designed to enhance the experience of nature that surrounds us by using an increased proportion of open-air common areas with simple and well appointed accommodation options. Our aim is to support our guests to comfortably immerse within the vast open space and stunning scenery; to explore and connect with nature in a tropical setting; to achieve the right balance of peace and rejuvenation. Lodging Options Include: Suite, Private Rooms, Shared Rooms, Cabanas and Dormitory.

Samadhi Suite

Immerse yourself in the privacy and tranquility of our signature room, the Samadhi Suite, a two-level studio suite situated on its own floor atop Casa Yoga. The suite includes a private terrace overlooking the pool and jungle, full kitchen, double bed, twin bed and bath. The suite features a secret staircase to a private, open-air terrace showcasing incredible views of Peace Retreat and the Costa Rican jungle!

Jungle Bungalow

Our newest accommodations! These air-conditioned bungalows feature either two single beds or 1 queen bed, handmade teak shelves, ceiling fan, safe, en suite bathroom, and a large terrace perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the monkeys in the trees above.

Room

One of two air conditioned rooms that feature reforested teakwood furniture, wardrobe, safe, and a private bathroom. Rooms are located on the second floor and include 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Both open to the second floor terrace with a cozy reading nook and views of the pool and jungle.

Deluxe Jungle Cabina

Fall asleep to sounds of the jungle in our deluxe, open-air, screened in cabina. This cabina is lovingly constructed with reforested teak wood and features a queen-size bed, private bathroom, ceiling fan, safe, and wooden shelving storage space.

Standard Jungle Cabina

Fall asleep to sounds of the jungle in one of our open-air, screened in cabinas. Each cabina is lovingly constructed with reforested teak wood, and contains furnishings of the same. Each cabina includes two twin beds, a ceiling fan, safe, and wooden shelving storage space. Cabina guests use our community washroom facility which includes beautifully constructed stone showers (with hot water).

Casa Verde Shared Accommodation

A teakwood screened-in structure that contains 7 semi-private spaces each divided by teak walls. Each space includes a single bed, side table, lamp, Wi-Fi, and direct access to beautiful outdoor stone showers, sinks, and community washroom facility. All linens, towels, and daily housekeeping service included.

Rekindle Your Essence in CR Retreat at Peace Retreat

I think I can speak for our whole group that our time spent at Peace Retreat was phenomenal and beyond expectations.

Great location close by to some beautiful beaches. .

The facility and grounds themselves are beautiful and extremely well maintained. All employees at Peace Retreat went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we would need for yoga classes, gatherings, meditation, accommodations, food etc.

The food and presentation is absolutely amazing , delicious and nutritious.
The dining area was a really beautiful place to connect with our group and others that were staying at the facility, including the owners.

Daniela the facility manager was phenomenal at helping me with everything from pre-retreat organization, setting up, recommendations of
excursions, shuttles , accommodations, and answered all my questions. Thank you, thank you Daniela for your time and effort!

All the women that worked the front desk were always available at anytime to help with anything we needed. So friendly personable and just really beautiful souls. They all made us feel like a part of a big family..

The on site offerings added an extra level of transformation , relaxation and nurturing to our retreat.

I definitely will host another Yoga Retreat at Peace Retreat !

Simply the BEST experience! Pura Vida!

I had such an amazing, profound and beautiful experience at Peace Retreat! It's safe, comfortable and I highly recommend staying here. The entire staff is friendly, helpful and professional... they're all so lovely and competent in everything they do! The food, juices, and desserts are so fresh and delicious, and the setting is tropical and luxurious...enjoy this gem!

Very peaceful

Just returned from a 1 week yoga retreat at Peace Retreat. The entire experience was awesome. The property is warm and welcoming. So nice to hang around the pool to cool off. The small private garden behind our bungalow was very nice. Best of all was the super amazing staff - all so happy and helpful. The food was outstanding, better than some of the best meals I've had at any restaurant/hotel, ever.
Practicing yoga in outdoor studios with the jungle breeze and background sounds of monkeys and birds is unbeatable.
Truly a place to be experienced.

All you need is Peace

I just returned from a week of yoga hosted by Victoria & Courtney from Power yoga Canada at Peace Retreat. Being there was wonderful and restorative. The staff were all amazing and kind. The “Peace Massage” package was heaven! The best I’ve ever experienced. The meals were great as well!
