Incredible Place to Be
The Peace Retreat does it right. The location, the vibe, the food, the facilities, and especially the people are all wonderful. It's the perfect combination of connection with the land and nature, giving a real down-to-earth Costa Rica experience, and the amenities and comforts of great lodging, amazing food, and a "being taken care of" mindset. I absolutely love it there, and highly suggest to anyone passing through, or wanting to host a retreat.

Much needed self-care and getaway trip to Costa Rica
I enjoyed my recent stay at the Peace Retreat for 5 days. As someone in the health care field living in a busy city my trip to Peace Retreat was a perfect getaway to relax and take a break from my daily routine. I was lucky to have a close friend join me on this trip. We stayed in the bungalow suite and liked the accommodations- it’s spacious, has A/C, well maintained and cleaned daily. We got to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
Kevin- the owner - is a good yoga instructor and accommodating. The entire staff- front reception- Brenda, Julia and the maintenance workers and friendly chefs who prepare fresh and delicious meals are attentive and welcoming. I would recommend Peace Retreat and if planning to do excursions- possibly get a rental car.

Very expensive compare to what you get
It’s very far from ocean.Front desk and kitchen Staff was very friendly , but not the owners(both)hardly or never we can get hi from them. Food made in very low cost and cheap. No ice at all even we asked they refused to give us. Nothing extra of kindness or food. Place itself very lovely and warm, burning 🥵. No intertainmen( boring for single travelers)
There is more in to it but sleeping in hot 🥵 it’s not a pleasant vacation retreat.

Peaceful
I discovered the Peace Retreat on my Airbnb site. It is one of the most serene places you will find in Costa Rica. The cabanas are surrounded by nourishing greenery, howling monkeys and many nooks to read and dream. One never needs to leave, as the food, both plant based breakfast and dinner await you daily. I just moved from hammock to hammock and from one spa treatment to another in my 3 day stay. Did I mention they have yoga? I think a future cooking class might be fun too? Thank you for creating this Peaceful Retreat.
