Accommodation

Your private lodgings are nestled in forest nooks or close to amenities according to your preference. We have space for no more than 10-12 guests at the center. Each guest can choose according to his needs. There is a double bed, hammock, mosquito net, chair and desk and some shelves in each accommodation type. Some rooms and tambos have private bathrooms with a shower and a toilet and sink. A large kitchen and dining area invite you with a shared communal space for relaxing and talking. Since we are off-grid we have limited electricity from a generator throughout the day and our drinking water is brought in and is filtered for clean, safe use. We try to live connected to nature and are able to accommodate isolation diets for guests who would like to give it a try. We offer 3 accommodation types to suit your budget and comfort-level with jungle immersion. Rooms are for 1 person only. Standard Room (with private bathroom) Our standard accommodation is for a single guest in a spacious private room with double bed and your own small private bathroom. These simple adobe/concrete structures provide good general protection from the jungle elements, with mosquito netted windows and openings designed to allow airflow and coolness in the summer heat. The rooms are situated close to the common dining and ceremonial areas, and are nearby attractive ponds and plant medicine gardens. Jungle Tambo (access to shared bathroom) Enjoy staying in one of our stylishly modern private tambos - made with beautiful hard wood and a lovely open aspect overlooking the tranquil ponds of Caya Shobo, or isolated in a more dense jungle area. With the jungle tambos you have access to a shared bathroom, and the benefit of being completely alone and surrounded by the jungle ambience - perfect for isolation Plant Dieta practice. Deluxe Tambo (with private bathroom) Our best accommodation option offers Jungle Tambo style living with your own private bathroom. The beautiful architecture of these rooms give a special feeling of being in your own private temple.

Everything was very well organized and the entire property was very secure. We will be returning and would definitely recommend it highly to anyone. Thank you to everyone there.

Caya Shobo is amazing!!
I have now been to Caya Shobo twice, both for very intensive 10 day retreats. Once in Jan, and again in Dec of 2019. Words can't even describe how amazing each process and experience was for me. The level of care and attention that goes in to each and every person there was over and above what I expected. My time there was valued and respected, and I was always made to feel there was someone available to help me go through whatever I needed too, whenever I needed to. I felt very safe, both physically and emotionally while in the hands of the staff and volunteers at the center. From the moment you arrive at the center, it becomes clear that the experience of the guest is the priority of EVERYONE working at Caya Shobo. As I say, words can't help me describe how powerful and profound my transformation was while at Caya Shobo. What I can do is strongly recommend this center to anyone serious about a deep experience, not only with the medicine of ayahuasca, but into the very nature of yourself, your spirit, your mind and body, and your place in this world :)

The place where i want to come back
I came here for the second time this October and had a feeling like i came back home. The atmosphere is really nice, peaceful and friendly here. Everything is nice in the center: tasty and healthy food, quite rooms with personal shower, comfortable beds. Staff is very helpful and friendly, they care so much of all the visitors here. From the first day here i was guided and supported by kind Caty and other facilitators of the center (Angela, Natasha and Lia). All of them are wonderful and helped a lot.
There're books to read on different languages, massage and sometimes facilitators offer yogga classes and body work etc. You can easily go to the city (the staff will help you with the transfer and provide a driver who can take you wherever you want and wait for you).
Maestros were very experinced and i still remember their magical Icaros. I had an amasing feelings during ceremonies and hardly can explain what it was like. But i felt myself released, loved and some deep senses were coming up which i was about to forget and to hide inside.
I met interesting people there and very glad to have new friends. It was very useful to have sharing circles and private talks to shamans and facilitators after ceremony's nights. This experience is quite different for everybody and even every night was different for me. Several times it was hard but i always felt supported in my Ayahuasca experience and had really sudden and very important insights for myself.
I'm only in the begining of this path but hope to come back here again and again. It's great to have this experience with ancient medicine in a such friendly place. I miss Caya Shobo and really love it.
