In the idyllic natural setting of the village of Sant Antolí in the heart of Catalonia, just an hour away from Barcelona, you can immerse yourself in silence and meditation during a weekend at the cozy rural house of the Cal Teca Rural This retreat invites you to delve into silence and inner peace through meditation, allowing you to discover your inner strength.

We often see difficult situations as enemies, but beyond appearances, they are an invitation to transform—to change the patterns that often harm us and those around us. It is possible to walk with serenity in the midst of the storm, by understanding and transforming daily chaos.

This is what this retreat is about. Through three days of silence and the practice of mindfulness—combined with Buddhist teachings on meditation, the inner workings of the mind, and seeing clearly what truly matters—you will return home able to navigate daily life with inner peace and calm, even in the face of challenges.

Buddha taught about the existence of suffering, pointing to dissatisfaction, desire, and the clinging to a self-existent “I” as the forces that fuel this cycle of pain. But he also gave us hope: that we can free ourselves from this cycle of suffering and attain liberation.

The profound Buddhist texts we will explore speak of the inner dialogue between good and evil within our own minds. They reveal the many traps that deceive us—making us believe we’re thinking and acting in helpful ways when, in truth, we are often led astray, creating realities and experiences that bring us pain.
These teachings will help you unravel the mind’s seductive arguments and release long-held burdens.

t's a place amidst what many call nowhere, where you can reconnect with yourself.

It has 5 bedrooms - two with double beds, two with two single beds, and one with a bunk bed; two bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with a dining area, and a living-dining room.

Additionally, the house has fiber optic internet.

During the retreat, we practice karma yoga. It means actions that arise from a selfless attitude, devoted to serving others, without self-interest or focus on the outcome of that action,
