Where Wonder Leads: Praying with the Stories of Our Lives - Virtual

We know that we are made for story. Our lives are part of the Great Story. But too often, we get bogged down in the monotony of our days. We trade the epic for the everyday and lose sight of how truly amazing we are. In this four-part online retreat, award-winning author Eric Clayton will guide us through reflections, exercises, and guided prayer to reawaken with us our sacred desire for adventure. Using his new book Where Wonder Leads: Finding God Through Fairy Tales, Myth and Contemplative Prayer, we will map our own epic journey and seek out the breadcrumbs to where God's Spirit is leading us next.

All meditations will be drawn from the book. Each week, participants will be invited to pray with a particular chapter and given time to share the fruits of that prayer in small groups. Themes will include vocational discernment, finding God in speculative storytelling, Ignatian spirituality, praying with the imagination, and more.
