About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Welcome to the inaugural Odyssey Meditation and Psilocybin Retreat, the first of its kind in the U.S.!*

This retreat is an immersive, all-inclusive 6-day experience designed to maximize the benefits of two psilocybin journeys combined with meditation. This is not a psilocybin retreat with some meditation: it is a modern silent meditation retreat combined with guided psilocybin experiences.

Research has shown that psilocybin increases meditation depth and produces larger positive changes (compared to a placebo) even four months after the journey. Similarly, meditation seems to enhance the positive effects of psilocybin and counteract possible distressing effects (you can read about the study in the prestigious scientific journal Nature).

Ideal candidates are those who have experience with both meditation and psychedelics and would like to enhance their practice by combining the two. This retreat is not intended for those specifically looking to address mental health issues.

Before registering, please make sure you have filled out our application form and understand that not all applicants will be accepted to the program as spaces are extremely limited. Note that those selected must successfully pass our safety screening and intake process in order to attend.
Cost Transparency
In the spirit of a meditation retreat, we strive to keep this experience as affordable as possible. Offering a retreat within the U.S. legal framework, with the level of support we believe is essential, is costly. Over time, we will do our best to reduce expenses while maintaining exceptional quality. We invite you to contribute at the highest level you can comfortably afford. Your generosity enables us to expand access to these retreats, especially for those who cannot pay the full amount. Any revenue generated from this retreat exceeding a 30% profit margin will go toward a scholarship fund for individuals with limited financial means. Please note: unlike traditional meditation retreats, where teacher compensation (dana) is offered voluntarily at the end, we ask for all contributions up front. This is because participants are often in an emotionally open state after a psilocybin experience, and we believe it would be unethical to request donations at that time. All teacher compensation is therefore included in the retreat cost.

*To our knowledge, there has never been a retreat available outside of clinical studies that combines meditation and legal psilocybin.

Among the Top Ten Most Meaningful Experiences of My Life
Very trustworthy, professional and warm at the same time. Worth the time and money. Very helpful to my self healing journey. I chose it because it looked more professional than the other options I could find, and seemed like there was effort and care put into the warmth and supportive environment that is cultivated.

Both Caroline and Amanda were amazing and even though I went for the psilocybin, having them as the facilitators and guides was incredibly helpful and enhanced my experience. I truly believe their presence and guidance is what sets this apart from other options. The fact that everything was very well planned out and I didn't need to think about anything else other than being present for my experience.

Very Meaningful
Caroline and Amanda were compassionate, experienced, and deeply committed.

Experiencing the wonder of psilocybin with a group of people searching for insight and personal growth was incredibly enriching. I found the advance group preparation and all the integration work following mushroom experience to be as powerful as the plant medicine itself. I found preparing for and later processing the psilocybin experience as a group to be invaluable.

Transformational and a great reset for a better understanding of self
I have told several friends --> Odyssey is a compassionate and highly professional group taking on the task of proving the effectiveness of psychedelics, and showing the world that there is a better way. These are some of the most compassionate and selfless people that I have ever met.

I felt cared for and supported through the process. David went above and beyond to meet, talk, walk, and explore my mindset. His calm, yet confident approach gives you comfort. He is a true professional who takes his work very seriously.

A release of physical and psychological pain from my heart
Amanda and Caroline were amazing. Supportive, kind and highly intuitive women.

As a former executive I tend to be detailed oriented and environmentally vigilant. Intuitively I knew that these traits weren't needed from the time I was picked up to the post retreat drop off at the airport.

This was a well planned, supportive and thoughtfully curated retreat that was warmly executed and exceeded my high expectations and quickly allayed any fears that I had. The staff and fellow travelers were kind, intelligent, funny and creative individuals who had suffered significant losses and perhaps as a result were especially empathetic and compassionate.

Highly Exceeded Expectations
It took several years to make this decision, and the professionalism that I saw in the materials and approach from the Odyssey team persuaded me to try it with them. I am very, very pleased with that decision. I consider them very professional. I have listened to many materials on this and everything convinces me that I made the right decision.

David, Jenn, Alex and Lynn were all excellent. I now consider them good friends. They take really good care of you and I had many deep conversations with them. That goes from the preparation, to the accommodations, to the meals, to the integration practices. I was very impressed.
