About this Retreat
Details of this retreat
Welcome to the inaugural Odyssey Meditation and Psilocybin Retreat, the first of its kind in the U.S.!*
This retreat is an immersive, all-inclusive 6-day experience designed to maximize the benefits of two psilocybin journeys combined with meditation. This is not a psilocybin retreat with some meditation: it is a modern silent meditation retreat combined with guided psilocybin experiences.
Research has shown that psilocybin increases meditation depth and produces larger positive changes (compared to a placebo) even four months after the journey. Similarly, meditation seems to enhance the positive effects of psilocybin and counteract possible distressing effects (you can read about the study in the prestigious scientific journal Nature).
Ideal candidates are those who have experience with both meditation and psychedelics and would like to enhance their practice by combining the two. This retreat is not intended for those specifically looking to address mental health issues.
Before registering, please make sure you have filled out our application form and understand that not all applicants will be accepted to the program as spaces are extremely limited. Note that those selected must successfully pass our safety screening and intake process in order to attend.
Cost Transparency
In the spirit of a meditation retreat, we strive to keep this experience as affordable as possible. Offering a retreat within the U.S. legal framework, with the level of support we believe is essential, is costly. Over time, we will do our best to reduce expenses while maintaining exceptional quality. We invite you to contribute at the highest level you can comfortably afford. Your generosity enables us to expand access to these retreats, especially for those who cannot pay the full amount. Any revenue generated from this retreat exceeding a 30% profit margin will go toward a scholarship fund for individuals with limited financial means. Please note: unlike traditional meditation retreats, where teacher compensation (dana) is offered voluntarily at the end, we ask for all contributions up front. This is because participants are often in an emotionally open state after a psilocybin experience, and we believe it would be unethical to request donations at that time. All teacher compensation is therefore included in the retreat cost.
*To our knowledge, there has never been a retreat available outside of clinical studies that combines meditation and legal psilocybin.
