Beautiful place, very small sheppard hut
Id say this place is AMAZING for a retreat! But as a couple staying in the shepherds hut not so amazing. The welcome was lovely, wonderful staff, and a beautiful place. There are no accurate pictures of the huts so going off the quality featured in the other images and that it is promoted as a luxury place I had assumed the huts would be great. They are thoughtfully decorated but alas much too small for two people self catering. The double bed is one sided. Few places to put anything that it was more convenient to leave my case on the floor than put stuff away. So unfortunately not good value for money.
I loved the outside fire and personal hot tub and the communal area with cosy fire, honesty bar and games. Oh & the breakfast hamper is a really nice touch.
