Details of this retreat

Ladies embark on a journey in the  breathtaking Catskill mountains of upstate New York, where women arrive as strangers and leave as friends through shared experiences like yoga, hiking, and sacred outdoor rituals,  including a cacao  & sweat lodge purification ceremony. During your down time you have the opportunity to enjoy some pampering spa treatments in the world class Dewa Spa located on the retreat grounds,(for additional charge) or sip hot coffee & shop at the beautifully curated gift shop where you are sure to find something special for yourself or loved ones back home.

This retreat has it all, where luxury and nature meet in the most natural of ways. We will dine on locally sourced plant based meals wonderfully crafted by the onsite chefs, that will both delight the senses and satisfy the body and soul.(vegetarian options available at every meal)

You’ll forge deep connections and create lasting relationships celebrating the the power of community around a bonfire and drumming circle while embracing the healing elements of nature. When our time together comes to an end you will return home with a lasting bond to these sacred mountains and a heart full of sisterhood.

Each guest goes home with hand selected gifts complimentary from The Reconnection Retreat that commemorate our sacred time together.

Ladies, we are created differently and hold so much healing for the collective. We need the support of one another and time with each other to refresh our sacred divine feminine connection to ourselves, each other and Mother Gaia

~ we will learn to honor our bodies innate intelligence and nurture them deeply with restorative yoga, sound healing, and reiki

~we will reconnect to the wild woman inside us who craves a deeper connection to the natural world and explore ourselves through the lens of the elements of nature; fire, air ,earth, water and ether during our weekend immersion into nature

`~we will elevate our intuitive abilities through the practice of gentle kundalini yoga  known as the yoga of awareness as we awaken our inner divine feminine

~ we will detox our bodies through clean water, clean air, plant based food, and a deep sweat inside the sweat lodge ceremony

~we will form a collective sisterhood around the bonfire as we enter into a communal drumming circle and ecstatic dance

~we will rejuvenate our nervous systems as we take time away from the hustle and grind of daily life to connect with nature, ourselves and like-minded women from all walks of life.

Weekend retreat stay
The property is on a beautiful, peaceful location.
Nature is all around and sometimes a little too close but you are literally surrounded by woods.

The food was really good and I liked the buffet style and fruit basket.

The gift shop although small had a nice selection of items and I purchased a few fun items.

Since the dining area was on the opposite side of the site from the convention center, a lot of students drove back and forth on the property. I chose the walking paths to get around.

Lovely
I had a fascinating and enlightening experience during an “Energy squared Reiki,” class at Menlo this past week. The grounds, rooms, facilities amenities and spa at Menla were all beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The food was delicious and nourishing. I can say only good things about both Menla and the program I attended, and would wholeheartedly recommend both.
