Details of this retreat

October 31-November 1 marks the midpoint between the Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice.  This signifies the deepening continuation of turning inward for essential restoration and reflection.  Sacred Sound, Silence and Stillness straddles this significant Celestial and Earth rhythm, balancing the realm of illuminating dreams and quieted grounding.  It is as though this macrocosmic time represents the microcosmic "in-between" of wakefulness and sleep, where one may find their consciousness hovering during restorative activities such as soundbaths.  Retreat programming is designed to bolster your journey inward, immerse in the in-between and return to a natural, slowed state of being.

Enjoy this liminal space between darkness and light with supportive modalities such as gong and sound immersion, stillness-oriented yoga such as yin and Yoga Nidra, grounded movement with a Hatha slow flow morning class and meditative hiking, reflective journaling and more!  All located within the tranquil, serene woodland setting of Menla.  The perfect space to embrace the peaceful, natural wilderness from within and without.  Profound inner connection awaits you at Sacred Sound, Silence and Stillness.

This retreat is for you if you are looking for:

Effortless stress relief from your routine or from recent intense transition or grief.
A profound sense of inner peace.
An overall recalibration and attunement connecting you to the highest version of yourself.

Weekend retreat stay
The property is on a beautiful, peaceful location.
Nature is all around and sometimes a little too close but you are literally surrounded by woods.

The food was really good and I liked the buffet style and fruit basket.

The gift shop although small had a nice selection of items and I purchased a few fun items.

Since the dining area was on the opposite side of the site from the convention center, a lot of students drove back and forth on the property. I chose the walking paths to get around.

Lovely
I had a fascinating and enlightening experience during an “Energy squared Reiki,” class at Menlo this past week. The grounds, rooms, facilities amenities and spa at Menla were all beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The food was delicious and nourishing. I can say only good things about both Menla and the program I attended, and would wholeheartedly recommend both.
