Details of this retreat

The Re-Wilding workshop is a four-day immersive retreat that integrates Holotropic Breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing and nature-based practices to work with the physical, emotional, relational and spiritual aspects of the human experience.

Holotropic Breathwork® is a powerful breathwork practice that allows for self-exploration and healing. With the eyes closed and lying on a mat, each person uses their own breath and the music in the room to enter an expanded state of consciousness. This state activates the natural inner healing potential of the breather—or "inner healer"—which guides the experience. The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork can include releasing and healing trauma, improving anxiety and depression, higher insights of spiritual understanding, increased connection to self and others, and opening to compassion and love.

In this double breathwork workshop, you will experience:

Four Holotropic Breathwork® sessions (two as a breather/two as a sitter)
A sound healing session
Mask making
Creating nature mandalas
Nature-based mindfulness practices
Forest Meditation
An evening community fire gathering

Whether you are new to holotropic breathwork or highly experienced, this program can help you reconnect with your own inner healing wisdom. It is open to new or experienced breathers or anyone interested in learning more about this type of breathwork. It is also approved by Grof Transpersonal Training and Grof Legacy Training to meet the breathwork requirements of your training. For anyone in a psychedelic-assisted therapy training program, this workshop may fulfill your requirement for sitting for others in expanded states of consciousness.

Weekend retreat stay
The property is on a beautiful, peaceful location.
Nature is all around and sometimes a little too close but you are literally surrounded by woods.

The food was really good and I liked the buffet style and fruit basket.

The gift shop although small had a nice selection of items and I purchased a few fun items.

Since the dining area was on the opposite side of the site from the convention center, a lot of students drove back and forth on the property. I chose the walking paths to get around.

Lovely
I had a fascinating and enlightening experience during an “Energy squared Reiki,” class at Menlo this past week. The grounds, rooms, facilities amenities and spa at Menla were all beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The food was delicious and nourishing. I can say only good things about both Menla and the program I attended, and would wholeheartedly recommend both.
