About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

*A 13-Day Journey of Ceremony, Culture, and Connection in the Peruvian Andes*

Our upcoming Master Plant Retreat in Peru, scheduled for January 10–22, 2026, is a 13-day immersive experience of healing and spiritual reconnection in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Inkas. This transformative journey is designed to awaken ancestral memory, deepen inner alignment, and restore connection with the Earth through sacred medicine, Andean rituals, and the ancient wisdom of the mountains.

Guided by a team of experienced facilitators, the retreat includes three Ayahuasca ceremonies led by Edmunds and Alessandra, and two Andean ceremonies guided by the respected Maestro Don Kucho—including the powerful Despacho ritual and a San Pedro (Huachuma) ceremony by the river.

This retreat takes place entirely in the Sacred Valley—a land rich with spiritual energy, vibrant indigenous culture, and monumental archaeological sites. From mountain lagoons to Inkan temples, from community visits to meditative walks, every aspect of this journey is curated for grounding, integration, and transformation.

*What to Expect*

*Ayahuasca Ceremonies (3 nights)*

Held in a serene ceremonial space, the Ayahuasca ceremonies begin in the evening and are supported by traditional healing chants (icaros), sacred silence, and the presence of experienced guardians. Participants are invited into a profound space of introspection and visioning. The brew used is a traditional Amazonian preparation of Banisteriopsis Caapi and Chacruna, with optional access to rapé (sacred snuff) and sananga (eye drops) to support grounding and energetic clarity.

Ceremonies are led by Edmunds and Alessandra, who bring a grounded, compassionate approach to the sacred night work. Sharing circles the following day allow space for reflection, emotional release, and integration in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment.

*San Pedro Ceremony (1 day)*

The culminating ceremony of the retreat is held outdoors by the river, guided by Don Kucho, an Andean medicine man rooted in the mountain lineage. San Pedro (Wachuma) is a heart-opening cactus medicine that supports clarity, insight, and a feeling of oneness with nature. This slow, reflective day invites deep listening to the river, the earth, and one’s own soul. The ceremony ends with singing around the fire, integrating the vision and grounding it into the body.

*Despacho Ceremony (1 day)*

The Despacho is a traditional Andean ritual of offering and gratitude to Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits). With coca leaves, flowers, grains, and prayers, a sacred bundle is created and offered to the spirit world as a symbol of balance and reciprocity (ayni). This is a powerful act of collective intention-setting and realignment with nature’s cycles.

Cultural Immersion and Sacred Sites

Throughout the retreat, participants will visit some of the most spiritually significant and culturally rich places in the Andes, including:
• Pisac village and its traditional market, with free time to explore handicrafts and mingle with local Quechua people.
• Chawaytiri community, where ancient weaving techniques are preserved with pride.
• Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary, home to rescued Andean wildlife.
• Archaeological sites such as Saqsayhuaman, Ollantaytambo, and the Intiwatana Temple in Pisac.
• A high-altitude excursion to the sacred lagoon of Quinsa Cocha (4000m), surrounded by pristine nature and silence.
• A full-day trip to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inka Empire, including visits to the Temple of the Moon, San Blas, and the San Pedro Market.

Integration and Support

Integration is a core pillar of this retreat. In addition to daily sharing circles and optional one-on-one guidance, participants are invited to slow down, connect with others, and anchor their insights through body awareness, journaling, and conscious rest. The group field is cultivated with intention, offering a safe and sacred space for everyone’s unique process.

Whether you’re called to deep inner healing, ancestral reconnection, or simply a reconsecration of your path, this retreat offers fertile ground for transformation—with nature, spirit, and community as your allies.

Magnificent, life-changing Peru Journey
My experience in Peru was the most spiritually expanding experience of my life. I joined Edmunds and six other Italians for two weeks, one week in the jungle, one week in the sacred Valley. It was my first Ayahuasca ceremony, and first Wachuma ceremony, and I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect setting. It was an enlightening, magical, eye-opening immersion into nature and brought me closer to the Divine. Edmunds was our “Fearless Leader” and I found his presence extremely caring and calming. He has been bringing people in journeys for 20+ years and he knows how to make the process seamless and mind-expanding, without being scary. The ceremonies themselves brought me into a much deeper understanding of my place in the Universe, and the integration and sharing experiences the following days were perfect to help me understand my new found insights.

Throughout the trip, we all became close! We ate together, we hiked in the jungle and in the mountains, swam in the pool, and slept in beautiful surroundings. I got a single room which was a little bit more expensive but well worth it! We saw tons of animals. I loved the pool and the Ayahuasca Mallorca where we had the ceremonies was perfect and private. I even practiced yoga there during the day! I also had a lovely massage in the jungle, and bought several outfits and souvenirs in the very cute gift shop.

The experience in Sacred Valley was beyond my expectations. The mountains of Peru are glorious to behold. The bed and breakfast was perfect and the food delicious. The weather in both locations was great. It rained but in moderation!! I was the only American in the trip and the only person to speak only English! But everyone was so warm and kind and translated for me as much as I needed. I also had a translation App for my phone which was an excellent choice! The beauty of the scenery, the gorgeous clothing and textiles, the visit to the artisan’s village, the incredible views, all the great vegetarian and vegan food (plus some fish and chicken in limited quantities) all made me feel so healthy and whole. I bought all sorts of beautiful clothing and jewelry that I have worn every day since I’ve been home. I came out of the retreat happy, peaceful, and full of love. I recommend Ayahuasca Pranja retreats 10/10 with my whole heart and I’m sure I will return soon!

A Sacred Journey with Edmund and Alessandra
I had the joyful and miraculous opportunity to spend time with Edmund and Alessandra. I felt it was life-changing and very beneficial to my experience on this Earth. They beautifully balance sky and earth with their presence, music, and simply as radiant, shining beings. I experienced it as a highway of exploration and evolution on different levels, in a very safe and sacred manner. I would highly recommend working with them and following their guidance in the pathways of plants and life.

Very deep and positive experience
I did a retreat in Peru in January 2024 with Edmund. It was an exciting experience that I hope to do again soon. The pickup was organized in mini details. The ceremonies were conducted by Edmund, at the temple of La Pacha, with attention to all of us and with a high dedication to practice. The Temple has a clean and powerful energy as well as being a beautiful and very well maintained building.
Some ceremonies were held outdoors with splendid walks through the green nature of Pisac and the old ruins of Pisac, surrounded by an ancestral and powerful energy.
The Sacred Valley. where we stayed for the days of retreat, welcomes you with the view of the most beautiful mountains I have seen. It is a place rich in beauty and magic.
Thank you Edmund for the welcome and care. I thank all my fellow travelers for having spent a period of beauty and deep healing.
