Details of this retreat

The Earth & Saddle Men’s Retreat is a 3-day immersion into wilderness, horse connection, and grounded inner work, designed for men who carry a lot, give a lot, and rarely pause.

Your base for the weekend is a remote lakeside camp surrounded by forest, water, and open sky. Comfortable canvas tents and cots are pre-set for you, allowing you to arrive and immediately drop out of “doing mode” and into your body.

Days are spent riding through wild terrain, learning to work with horses through presence rather than control, encountering powerful wildlife, and experiencing the rare and unforgettable practice of swimming with horses, a moment that brings many men back into trust, humility, and deep connection.

Throughout the retreat, you’ll be guided through:

Grounding Rapé ceremonies

Breathwork and nervous system regulation practices

Optional Yoga Classes for relaxation

Meditation and embodiment exercises

Fire circles for reflection and honest conversation

There is also time for axe throwing, fishing, solitude, rest, and integration, because men don’t heal by talking alone, but through movement, stillness, challenge, and connection.

Meals are nourishing, simple, and prepared for you. Evenings unfold around the fire, stories, silence, laughter, and moments of truth. There is no pressure to share, no expectation to perform. You are met exactly where you are.

This retreat exists because men are rarely given permission to:

Slow down without guilt

Speak honestly without judgment

Rest without weakness

Feel without being overwhelmed

Here, strength and softness are not opposites, they work together.

Your journey begins before you arrive with intentional preparation and continues after you leave with integration support, ensuring what you reconnect with here actually carries into your real life.

This retreat is not about becoming someone new.

It’s about reclaiming your grounded, intuitive, steady self,
the part of you that knows how to listen, respond, and move forward with clarity.

Schedule

Day 1 — Arrival, Grounding & Horses

10:00 AM — Arrive at the Ranch | Orientation & Grounding
Arrive, settle in, and meet the group. We’ll begin by grounding into the land, setting clear intentions, and opening the weekend with a focused, no-nonsense cleansing to mark the transition out of daily life and into the retreat.

11:00 AM — Meet Your Horse | Saddle Up
Connect with your horse and begin building trust, awareness, and presence. Horses respond to calm, grounded energy — this is where the work begins.

11:30 AM — Riding Instruction with Wranglers
A practical, supportive riding session to ensure safety, confidence, and alignment before heading into the backcountry.

12:30 PM — Ride into the Wilderness
We ride out through forest, open land, and bison territory — moving deeper into the park and away from distraction.

1:30 PM — Lunch on the Land
A solid, nourishing meal in nature to refuel and reset.

2:30 PM — Ride to Lakeside Camp
Continue riding into more remote terrain as we make our way to the private lakeside camp that will be home for the next two nights.

4:30 PM — Settle Camp | Axe Throwing
Unpack, ground into the space, and engage in axe throwing — focused movement, controlled power, and clean release.

5:30 PM — Mobility, Breath & Stillness
A simple, effective session to loosen the body, regulate the nervous system, and bring the mind online.

7:00 PM — Dinner by the Water
A hearty, nourishing meal shared by the lake.

8:00 PM — Fire Circle
Time by the fire for reflection, conversation, and connection. No pressure to speak — presence is enough. Northern lights may appear if conditions allow.

Day 2 — Movement, Presence & Deep Connection

8:30 AM — Morning Walk & Rapé
A quiet walk through the land followed by a grounding Rapé ceremony to clear the mind, sharpen focus, and anchor you in your body.

9:30 AM — Breakfast

10:30 AM — Break Camp | Saddle Up
Prepare for a full day on the land.

10:30 AM — Extended Trail Ride
Ride through varied terrain — open meadows, dense forest, wildlife corridors. Time to move, breathe, and let the nervous system reset through rhythm and motion.

1:00 PM — Lunch & Rest

2:00 PM — Afternoon Ride
Continue riding deeper into presence and partnership with your horse.

3:30 PM — Swim with the Horses
A powerful, unforgettable experience of trust and connection. No force, no control — just awareness, calm, and shared movement in the water.

5:30 PM — Grounding & Integration
Stretching, breath, and stillness to bring the body back into balance.

6:00 PM — Free Time
Rest, journal, fish, swim, walk, or sit in silence.

7:00 PM — Dinner

8:00 PM — Fire Circle
Brotherhood, stories, reflection, and space to speak honestly — or simply listen. Stargazing and quiet follow naturally.

Day 3 — Integration & Return

8:00 AM — Morning Grounding Practice
A focused session to integrate the experience and steady your energy before returning to daily life.

9:30 AM — Breakfast

10:30 AM — Boat Ride & Cold Water Swim
Clear the mind and wake the body with time on the water.

11:30 AM — Break Camp | Saddle Up

12:00 PM — Final Ride Back to the Ranch
A closing ride — steady, intentional, and reflective.

1:00 PM — Lunch & Rest

2:30 PM — Return to the Ranch

3:00 PM — Closing Circle
A grounded closing to acknowledge the work done, the connections formed, and what you’re taking forward.

4:00 PM — Departure
Leave with a clearer head, regulated nervous system, renewed sense of purpose, and tools you can carry into real life.
