Hello, my name is Laura. Around 2010 I started going to Yoga classes as a way to deal with my unhappiness in the Life choices I was making. Little did I know these practices were carving a pathway to connect with the Divine. In 2014 I decided to change my career and dedicate myself to learning and teaching Yoga, carving that doorway even deeper. These practices opened the doors into a new world of reverence to the Earth and Living Beings. On the path, I discovered the magic of breathwork and plants which solidified this surrendering to the Divine. Nowadays, I share and pracitce these tools as a way of consciously creating a container for the Divine in daily life.
Details of this retreat
The 21st June is the day of the Winter Solstice in Peru, and is the most important day in the Andean Calendar. It is also Internatonal Yoga Day. This special weekend celebrates the Solstice and gives you the space to deepen your yoga practice and journey inwards for healing and self-discovery. The medicine traditions and the Yogic traditions have many similarities as both guide us towards a deeper understanding of ourselves and or place in this world. We'll begin with a traditional Andean Despacho ceremony, led by a local Q'ero healer, to set our intentions for the weekend, we'll practice yoga and meditation each day, and there's an Ayahuasca ceremony on the Sunday night. This quiet retreat is limited to a maximum of three participants to give you plenty of space and support and to create a close and friendly setting for your ceremony.
