About this Retreat

Details of this retreat

Step into a profound journey of healing, reconnection, and spiritual awakening with our most comprehensive offering at Takinuna Healing Centre. This 15-day retreat invites you to deeply immerse yourself in the sacred teachings of three powerful master plants—Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma (San Pedro)—in a safe, supportive environment guided by native shamans and psychotherapists.

At the heart of this retreat lies the fusion of ancestral Amazonian medicine and integrative psychotherapy, creating a space where deep transformation can unfold across emotional, physical, and spiritual levels. Each participant receives personalized guidance and plant treatments, ensuring that your unique healing path is honored with care and intention.

This retreat is ideal for those looking to work on deep-rooted emotional wounds and life challenges. Participants often come seeking healing for PTSD, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, emotional distress, spiritual disconnection, identity crisis, and physical manifestations of psychosomatic pain. The combination of Ayahuasca, Bobinsana, and Huachuma—alongside psychotherapy and creative integration—offers a powerful space for emotional release, heart-opening, clarity of purpose, and spiritual reconnection.

Directions

To reach us, first fly into Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima, Peru. From there, take a domestic flight to Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta Airport (IQT) in Iquitos, as Iquitos is only accessible by air or river and receives domestic flights only.

We recommend booking your arrival in Iquitos around 2:00 p.m., if possible.

Upon arrival, we will pick you up at the airport or, depending on timing, at a nearby restaurant where you can wait comfortably. From there, you’ll be driven to the port, where a private boat will take you to our retreat centre, located just 40 minutes from Iquitos, deep in the Amazon rainforest.

Accommodation

Our rooms are designed to support rest, privacy, and energetic renewal. You can choose between private rooms or shared rooms (maximum 2 guests per room), each with a private bathroom to ensure comfort and personal space. We maintain a small-group setting to preserve a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that supports deep healing and personal attention. The rooms are spacious yet minimalist, blending natural materials with simple design to encourage clarity, stillness, and connection with nature. To honor the natural rhythms of the jungle, the rooms do not have electricity, but are equipped with solar-powered fans and candles for evening use.
