GOsC Registered Osteopath | Functional Medicine Practitioner | Strength and Rehabilitation Coach
Jean is a GOsC registered osteopath with a Masters in Osteopathy, a BSc in Sports Science, and advanced functional medicine training through the Kresser Institute in California, one of the most rigorous functional medicine programmes in the world. He also holds qualifications in personal training (NASM) and sports massage, making him one of the most broadly trained clinical practitioners working in the UK today.
With over 10 years of clinical experience, Jean works at the intersection of musculoskeletal medicine, movement coaching, functional medicine, and lifestyle health, treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. His osteopathic practice covers the full classical scope including structural, cranial, and visceral techniques, allowing him to assess and treat dysfunction at every level of the body, from joint mechanics and fascial restriction to organ mobility and nervous system regulation.
His approach is built on a simple but rarely applied principle: that pain, fatigue, and dysfunction are almost always the result of multiple interconnected factors, and that lasting recovery requires addressing all of them together.
In London, Jean practices from two clinic locations, one in Wandsworth and one in Fulham, as well as offering mobile home visits across all London boroughs for clients who prefer treatment in their own environment. He sees clients online worldwide for functional medicine consultations and health coaching, and hosts small-group clinical retreats at his private chateau estate in Deux-Sevres, France.
Retreats run over 3 or 5 days and are the most intensive expression of his clinical philosophy, uninterrupted access to expert care, in an environment specifically chosen to support real recovery.
Although Jean does not hold a formal Pilates qualification, his movement coaching draws on a clinical understanding of motor control, corrective exercise, and rehabilitation that goes considerably deeper than standard Pilates instruction. Participants receive highly individualised movement work grounded in osteopathic assessment and sports science, not a generic class format.
He has worked with professional athletes, executives, chronic pain sufferers, post-surgical patients, and people who have exhausted conventional medicine without finding answers. His particular interest lies in the complex cases, the people who have been told everything is normal, but know it isn't.
Qualifications:
Masters in Osteopathy (MOst)
BSc Sports Science (Hons)
A-CFMP Functional Medicine Practitioner, Kresser Institute, California
Level 3+ Personal Trainer, NASM qualified
Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist
Jean's approach is direct, evidence-based, and deeply practical. He does not traffic in wellness trends or vague lifestyle advice. Every recommendation is grounded in clinical research, explained clearly, and tailored specifically to the individual in front of him. On retreat, participants leave not just having received treatment, but genuinely understanding their own body, why it has been struggling, and exactly what to do about it.
