About the Teacher

Why study with them?

GOsC Registered Osteopath | Functional Medicine Practitioner | Strength and Rehabilitation Coach

Most people who come to Jean have already tried. Physiotherapy, chiropractic, massage,
scans, exercise, rest. They have been told everything looks normal, and they are still
in pain. Those are the cases that interest him most.

Jean is registered with the UK General Osteopathic Council, number 10993, and holds a
Masters in Osteopathy, a BSc in Sports Science, and advanced functional medicine
certification through the Kresser Institute in California. He is also an NASM certified
personal trainer and a Level 3 sports massage therapist, with over ten years of clinical
experience.

Three disciplines that usually sit in three different buildings, with three practitioners
who never speak to each other, here sit in one pair of hands. The body is treated by
hand, the biology driving it is investigated, and strength is rebuilt so the result holds.

His osteopathic practice covers the full classical scope including structural, cranial
and visceral technique, which lets him assess and treat at every level, from joint
mechanics and fascial restriction through to organ mobility and nervous system
regulation. The principle underneath it is simple and rarely applied: pain and fatigue
are almost always the result of several interconnected factors, and lasting recovery
means addressing all of them together.

Jean does not hold a formal Pilates qualification. What guests receive instead is
movement work built on osteopathic assessment and sports science, motor control,
corrective exercise and rehabilitation, programmed for their body specifically rather
than delivered as a class.

He works from his clinic in Chelsea, sees patients at home across every
London borough, consults online worldwide, and hosts these retreats at his private
château estate in Deux-Sèvres. The retreat runs four days and three nights with never
more than four guests, and is the most intensive form of how he works.

He has treated professional athletes, executives, people in long term pain, post
surgical patients, and people who have exhausted conventional medicine without finding
answers. His interest is in the complex ones. The people who have been told everything
is normal, but know it is not.

Jean's approach is direct, evidence based and practical. He does not deal in wellness
trends or vague lifestyle advice. Every recommendation is grounded in research,
explained clearly, and built for the person in front of him. Guests leave not just
having been treated, but understanding their own body, why it has been struggling,
and exactly what to do about it.
