"I start off with complete gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work and dedication put forth by the Mira team in bringing healing to those who seek it. I was welcomed and made to feel safe and included starting off with our first phone call to ensure it would be a good fit on through transportation and arrival to the actual retreat. The facilities and location were great. What caught me off guard (right before the first ceremony) was when they started asking the women if they were on their menstrual cycles so they could be set to the outskirts of the circle... While I understood the ancient traditional explanation & justification in doing so - it caused me to reflect upon of all the women I work with (in present day as a trauma psychotherapist) to move past body shaming and rise up in self love and empowerment. I have sat in ceremony quite a few times with other tribes in other countries and this was never brought up, so I did not think to ask about it during my initial call. This period policy may not be an issue at all for some women, but may be a triggering set back for others. I encourage all women to inquire about this policy before arrival so they can make an individualized educated decision on if this is the proper environment for deep spiritual prolonged healing... Other than this, everything else was good. I wish you all well as we continue on this amazing journey called life :-) "

"To All, I recently participated in a week-long retreat in Spain with a team of experienced facilitators from Weareavalon.love. This was the most rewarding self-exploration experience of my life. I have attended other retreats, conferences, and self-discovery weekends, but none of them came close to the profound impact of this journey. I found the Ayahuasca journey to be more beneficial than two years of weekly psychotherapy. The most important component of the retreat was the staff. "The Ayahuasca experience had been calling to me for quite a considerable time, but it was only after dealing with the fallout of a a breakup from a particularly toxic relationship right before Christmas, that I made the spontaneous decision to attend Avalon 29. I arrived at Avalon broken, damaged, full of despair, insecurity and self loathing. Within five days of ceremony, interaction, gentle instruction, massage, one on one discussion, meditation and truly delicious nourishment via the meticulously prepared gourmet diet provided by the retreat, I left Avalon full of joy, , centred, with an almost overwhelming feeling of love -self love especially- clarity of mind, clarity of purpose. I was finally at peace, having made profound social connections as deep if not deeper than any I’d previously made in my entire life prior to going there. The transition in me had begun as quickly as the second day following my first Ayahuasca ceremony, which was held on the evening of my arrival and the immediate change was so obvious and pronounced my fellow participants couldn’t help but comment on it. In fact by the end of the retreat it was expressed to me by some that they regarded my transition in such a short space of time as little short of miraculous and inspirational. This is VERY powerful medicine, not just within the Ayahuasca itself, but also within the music, designed to elevate us into states of consciousness necessary to begin the healing process and purge what hinders us, cripples us or simply no longer serves us; whilst at the same time drawing in profound experiences and insights that help us heal, grow and be the best version of ourselves that we can possibly be. Make no mistake however, retreats like Avalon are only the beginning of the healing journey. Avalon is a doorway that can lead to a richer, more rewarding and satisfying sense of being. If one is prepared to open up, trust in the healing process, surrender to the experience, and embrace the strange with an open heart and without fear, the rewards to oneself can be immeasureable . At Avalon I found being open wasn’t difficult to do, surrounded such as I was by a powerful circles of mutually supportive, fellow participants, and a group of compassionate, responsible, experienced guides that gently led us through the process. During the entire experience I was never in any doubt that I’d placed myself in very good hands. By the time the retreat was over I felt humbled and deeply grateful for the experience, which I count as one of the greatest experiences that I’ve had in all my 64 years of life. This is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest gift I’ve given myself. Now as I step back into my life, the challenge is to bring all those insights, lessons and all of the self reflection to bare as i continue my healing away from the tranquil sanctuary that I’ve known for the last five days. My heart yearns for the seclusion and peace that I found there, the perpetual ceremonial fire that blazed throughout, beneath one of the most breathtakingly beautiful night skies I’ve ever seen. As I write this I have every intention of returning to Avalon so that I might find the door that leads to the next stage of my spiritual and emotional healing. If Ayahuasca is calling to you too, do yourself the biggest you will ever do yourself and choose Avalon. you’ll spend the rest of your days grateful that you did, trust me. "

I am normally a down te earth typical Dutch guy, and if you had asked me before then I would be .quite sceptical about something like this. But now looking back I would love to see that they could make this mandatory for all the leaders and politicians and even for the big corporate guys. "Well where do I start! I first found Ayahuasca 9 years ago and have had some amazing journeys but I always wanted to experience ceremonies in a more traditional way which the retreats I went on before did not do. After a 5 year break I looked over many months for somewhere to go and as soon as I saw the Mira retreats i knew that this was the one!! And boy o boy was I right. From the first moment of talking to Paula on the phone who listened to me and showed me such love to theWell where do I start! I first found Ayahuasca 9 years ago and have had some amazing journeys but I always wanted to experience ceremonies in a more traditional way which the retreats I went on before did not do. After a 5 year break I looked over many months for somewhere to go and as soon as I saw the Mira retreats i knew that this was the one!! And boy o boy was I right. From the first moment of talking to Paula on the phone who listened to me and showed me such love to the arrival at the beautiful retreat which is magical. All my fears melted away when I met the beautiful team Daniel, Paula Xavi and Dragon and other voyagers. Opening with a lovely opening circle where I felt safe to share my inner most feelings. The ceremonies were so powerful done with authentic jungle medicine and following the tradional Shamanic indigenous ancestry of the Cofan tradition. Daniel is a healer beyond words and worlds leading the ceremonies playing powerful live icaroes from the jungle. A powerful humble warrior magician who will guide you through to the light. Paula's voice and guitar playing melts the soul and is such a loving spirit of nature. Xavi a protective loving guardian ever present and Dragon a mischievous spirit who will make you smile and laugh out loud in or out of ceremony. Many thanks to Kateryna who’s beautiful voice and guitar brought so much light. My kambo experience with Paula and Xavi was nothing short of miraculous. As a first time Kambo taker I was apprehensive but I felt so safe every second of it and seeing miraculous results in my body since taking it. "I went to Barcelona on the 3rd of August 2024 for a bufo alvarius retreat with Avalon. I was extremely nervous about this one, I've done ayahuasca in peru in after following a calling back in 2022 and it was the most terrifying experience of my life, however it completely changed my life for the better in so many ways. After, I felt a calling for bufo so I spent some time doing my research which is very important with these kind of experiences and I came across Avalon with great reviews I decided to message and go for the one to one video call with Ammy which was great there and then, I decided to book the retreat in Barcelona Ammy made me very comfortable, she listened to my story of why I wanted this and she answered all of my questions. And continued to help me right up until the day of my retreat. When I arrived I was welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, I was very nervous but they really calmed my nerves, the facilitators and shaman very professional and after some meditation and breath work we did the bufo and it was the most incredible experience of my life, I instantly surrendered and they took good care of us, when I came back to my body I was laughing and smiling I felt amazing, and that wasn't the end of it, they then fed us delicious fruits and we then all shared our experiences with each other , we was all supposed to be there we helped one an other through the journey we was a family in this moment and it was beautiful. I highly recommend Avalon to anybody looking for healing with bufo. "

"I had many worries walking into this experience- I am in a peculiar time in my life, a dark time where I inately knew that I would need to be in concious and safe hands. Paula and Javi took all my concerns seriously- the serious ones and the more silly ones. They took time out of their day to give me well-thought out and intricate responses to all of my enquiries. A friend and I had informed them about our situation (a difficult sociopolitical situation) before coming and they held our predicament with high regard, relaying to Tatia Samith our situation and making sure we were cared for before, during and after ceremony. I usually aniticipate people to invalidate my experience or to not give it the weight it deserves- but the MIRA team were tender, wise and balanced in their approach. With them, I could let my guard down and focus solely on my healing without being hyper alert to any external threat. Every single person on the team was a blessing to have. Paula- a gentle healer with hands and a heart of gold. Javi, a child-like spirit with the wisdom of a protective elder. Danny- a sensitive warrior with a sureness in him that takes any fears away. And finally Taita Samith- God and Aya’s loyal and humble servant, a Jaguar and Parrot spirit with a Love that can feed the entire Earth. After this experience, I will not be joining any other team or retreat. The ceremonies took place in nature and Aya seemed to be familiar with her children (the MIRA team) and could work with us knowing that she was with people of integrity and that she was given the respect and honor she deserves. Its hard to find a retreat that is authentic, decolonial and not rooted in commercialization of the indeginious cultures. MIRA is just that. They serve the world from the heart and not from the ego or because of any external reward. Their medicine is Truth before anything else. Forever grateful for this experience and to have been in the presence of such historical indigenious ancestry (the Cofan tradition) that made it safe for my own ancestors to appear and recieve the Love they deserve. "Isa was very good at helping me feel so comfortable and safe. Her way with the tea bath and spirit cleanse allowed me to open up fully to be ready to embrace all that came. The journalling really helped me to focus on what I needed to focus on. I released so much anger. I just feel so much more at peace with my faults and with my strengths. I don’t put up with what I use to any more, I love myself deeper and I strive for better because of it and I thank Isa for all of this. I will go back one day. Thank you Isa. "
