About Fondazione Manudonna
Fondazione Manudonna
Mission & Vision
Our journey began in 2010, when a group of women gathered to heal, learn, and dream together. We envisioned spaces where life in all forms — human, animal, plant, and earth — is protected and honored.
After 11 years of slow growth, we founded the Manudonna Foundation, and one year later, our retreat house Passalmonte by Lake Trasimeno was gifted to us. Here, community takes shape through shared meals, daily meditation, caring for olive trees and our cat, and holding space for trauma healing.
Our mission is to create safe, self-sustaining places rooted in love, nature, and presence.
Our vision is for Passalmonte to become a center where women feel nourished and empowered in their leadership — and where men, too, are warmly welcomed in support of a more balanced world.
