Troy and Joaly along with the rest of the team were amazing to work with. The retreat was an excellent opportunity to slow down, unplug and explore self-inquiry. The property is beautiful. The amenities are wonderful. The ceremonies were awesome. The massages and body treatments were simply amazing. I left the week feeling like I had just spent a week at the spa. As I now sit in stillness after the retreat I reflect on how grateful I am for having had this experience. Highly recommend!

I went into root and wisdom with an open heart but a heavy one. I was suffering from clinical depression, feeling hopeless, and no real passion for life. I spent 7 days total and by day 2/3 I felt like a completely different person. This retreat has changed my life. Changed my view on life, and how I view myself. I will forever be grateful I was introduced to iboga as well as Joaly & Troy. I now feel hopeful for my future as well as in control. What a blessing this was, it was so dark and now I feel as though I am the light.

My time at Roots and Wisdom was an unforgettable one. Words can't really express or do justice the incredible work and support the whole team provide to curate a truly beautiful experience that nourishes the soul and clears the mind. The wisdom and power of iboga is one that can only be understood through experience. The respect and understanding of its use is shown with great wisdom by Troy and Joaly who have paid homage to its ancestral indigenous roots authentically and with the deepest of reverence. The support from the rest of the team with Ryan, Amelia, Bryan and Zaida made the experience even more special as they welcomed us with open arms and provided so much warmth and support and incredible holistic treatments that created a space of safety, family and ultimate relaxation. I consider the experience here one of my most important during my growth and evolution spiritually and couldn't recommend them more to those who are seeking their experience with iboga. I will always feel deep gratitude for the experience and for everyone on the team that allowed me to feel my most vulnerable with compassion and safety. Beautiful people, stunning landscape, a powerful plant and an enlightening experience felt from within. This place will forever be one of my biggest blessings and one that I will continue to learn from and always cherish.
